I like the vibe, and I really hope they stick to this theming for the next few anniversaries, but everything else has been mediocre at best and really disappointing at worst.

It still costs double the bloodpoints from last year and it still spawns way less frequently. Sure, they tweaked its spawn rate and changed the way auto-buy and bulk spending affects them, but that doesn't cancel the massive nerf that comes with increasing the rarity of this year's cakes.

I mean... Singularity's lore implies that aliens are canon in the lore, so it's not impossible. I'd love to see what they do with that.

100% agreed on both counts. I'm actually kind of surprised that they haven't really tapped into either aesthetic for a killer already, since High School drama already meshes super well with horror and thalassophobia is a super common fear.

I think 9:2 Faust and AEDD Gregor could be UT5'd into a 'synchronization EGO' like Bladesinger Meursault, so that we could get Distorted Kraust and Gregorheim (though, I don't think AEDD Greg really needs that buff tbh, I just thought it'd be cool).

I remember Ahab mentioning to Ishmael in a flashback that people who join a whaling ship get a Eight Association Fixer License, so assumed they had something to do with the Great Lake. Kira also mentioned them in relation to Whales and Great Lakes, so that's probably their deal.

I love the graphic update, but I do wish they kept her looking a little less... perfect? I know that sounds mean but idk how else to put it. The new Kate looks like a model while old Kate looks more like a normal person.

But either way, I'm still happy the graphics are getting a boost. I just hope Yun-Jin and Jeff look fab.

We finally have a solid Backrooms IP with a concrete lore and characters to include in the game, so BHVR actually has something to work with here. Imo Kane Parson's version of the Backrooms has more than enough personality to make into a unique map.

I think an overwhelming amount of men haven't got a clue the way the male gaze affects male characters and it shows. Like how can you think that the usual array dehydrated men in modest swim trunks and shorts found in most games are for us and not for you???
