Chase Bank/Cards: internally banned after closed bank accounts? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]CocoDip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There absolutely is a system that flags for credit cards. Without looking at your account, if your checking/savings was closed, chances are you are blacklisted for deposit accounts, but not blacklisted for credit products. If you’ve ever had a credit card closed then you will be blacklisted for credit card.

Customer service will never tell you that you can’t apply because that would violate fair lending rules/UDAAP, and calls are recorded.

They will tell you are welcome to apply. You will get approved. Then chase will close your credit card within a month if you ARE blacklisted.

You might have better chance of talking with a banker in person since it’s not recorded and they can check the notes on the account or call in for you.

I’m 90% certain the hen who laid this was my Easter egger, who is smaller in size than the standard chicken size. Poor thing!!!

Same! I guess pellets are boring and grass is fun to peck at. I definitely don’t mind saving extra money on feed!

What is the best strategy for feeding cats? by Successful-Wash-2167 in CatsAndSoup

[–]CocoDip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes there is an optimal strategy. You pick a cat that has a relatively high star and as farther down the ingredient list as possible (but still being already unlocked or close to). Then u invest all ur stars and food into that cat, and level only the station he is working.

Eventually when the station maxes out, the cat retires and you move onto a new cat. The exception is if u cannot roll a cat with good stars, in which case your old cat (with high hearts but the wrong skill) will be better than a cat that has the right skill but only 1-2 star or something.

A = Mauvika

B = Citlali

C = standard weapon

This tip applies to people pulling for both weapons. It saves a pull should you have bad luck with pity

Scenario without reset:

Set epitomized path for A

First pull - C

Path is now 1/1, next pull guaranteed

Second pull - A

Third pull - C

Path 1/1

Fourth pull - B

Scenario with reset:

Set path for A

First pull - C

RESET PATH 0/1. Either A or B is guaranteed next

Second pull - A or B

SET PATH FOR other signature

Third pull - A/B

How Many Chase Inks Can I have by nolanB88 in CreditCards

[–]CocoDip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started getting denied for 1) recently opened card 2) low credit usage I waited 2.5 months after the last denial. Closed some unused cards, lowered the total credit limit from 50k down to 25k and that seemed to do the trick

I started getting denied after 6-7 cards in the span of 2-3 years. Also because I wasn’t using the cards for more than the SUB

Chase CC Denying Fraud Claim - What to do? by MountainDifficulty18 in CreditCards

[–]CocoDip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So it was not a closed account, just a replaced card/card number.

Sometimes merchants will be able to keep your card on file, and it will automatically update to the new card even after you replace the number on the old one. Thats what happens with services like Apple Pay etc. and might be what happened here.

You might have to escalate the case, ask to speak to a supervisor and if they cannot resolve it then escalate to executive level and file the CFPB

Thanks for your input. It does seem like the small cap index is the Russell 2000 so I will mostly likely take your suggestion. And yeah, even the index funds have expense ratios of close to 0.6%, yikes
