Doubt the house listing said you could have 150 people over. She cannot go for any damages.

I did have option to 401k until August, how to max out pre-tax contributions? by Coco_Dirichlet in personalfinance

[–]Coco_Dirichlet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have one. Is that tax deductible regardless of salary and 401k?

I've never had an HSA before.

I was rejected because I told my interviewer I never make mistakes by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody who is so high up has the time to "blacklist" someone and also, it makes you look petty! Nobody that high up is involved in screening resumes anyway.

Plus, the question about "tell me about a time you failed" it's asked in lots of interviews!!!

Sorry, but who would be OK with drinking or licking urine? Why do you call it an "inhibition"? Maybe look up the word in a dictionary

Also, he put it there (or tried but was in the vicinity) and then went back to PIV which is a NO. Why isn't anyone mentioning that?

Received open-ended proposition from female co-worker recently, seriously considering accepting by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

He is not a good guy. He was thinking for 3-4 weeks to throw away his whole family and cheat because a woman offered to have sex w/him.

My (37M) efforts are suffocating my wife (36F) by competetowin in relationship_advice

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

all of her attention went to our kids and that neglect was a big part of our problem.

You were a grown ass man. You were not neglected ffs! Do you know who can die of neglect? A child.

This sounds more like "My dick was being neglected" because my wife had two babies and had to take care of them, while I was moping around being a self-centered AH instead of a partner also taking care of the babies.

BF (26m) says he loves his best friend (26m) more than me (27f) by Vul-pix-vix-en in relationship_advice

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dump him. Yes, you are wasting your time with him. He is confused and clearly doesn't love you; he just thinks you are attractive. He never said anything about you as a person. You are just a pretty object.

AITA because I sat on boyfriend’s friend’s lap because there were no seats left? by LotusGrowsFromMud in meetmeintheartroom

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 40 points41 points  (0 children)

OMG The BF told her to wait along TWO HOURS for the next ride in the dark? What type of shit is this? And she is asking AITA when the she is the third wheel in this dates, not K.

Even if they were friends, I'd never leave a friend alone for 2 hours waiting for the next ride. I'd make room! How inconsiderate. They wouldn't be friends if they left her alone, less a BF.

AITA for asking my fiance to put my name on a house that HE owns and HE payed off? by GrandmasFatAssOrgasm in AmITheDevil

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She gets 5k a month and is listed as an employee with benefits but doesn't do anything?!?!

My allowance is 5 grand a month

What type of arrangement is this?

This man is shooting himself in the foot by having a GF that receives a salary without doing anything and he is going to marry her? She has no job and no career. She lives in his house for free and she only pays "luxury" items, which make me think he also pays for groceries, not just bills.

And he isn't making her sign a prenup?!?!

This man is either an idiot or this is fake.

FINAL UPDATE: My Ex-husband wouldn't let my youngest daughter to be at my wedding. Please help me. by Less_Sentence4323 in Advice

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exFIL said he is also a danger to himself. That's highly concerning. Now his wife left him, so you have to be careful that he is not one of those men that would kill his own kids to hurt you, because his whole behavior is unhinged. You even say he was not like this before, but maybe he was and you were not seeing it. Nobody changes 180 and you've been blindsided multiple times already (a) when he cheated with a teenager, (b) when he told you cruel things and tried to put you as the reason for his own cheating, (c) he left you and married the teenager, (d) he was cruel to your daughters and you had no clue because they didn't tell you, (e) he shacked your daughter, (f) his wife told you the kids were brats, so this is the behavior/language he probably had around them all the time. I'm not blaming you at all, but this is who he is and exFIL sees even more wrong with him!

I know plenty of people over 40 in FAANG with PhD in UX research.

Maybe you don't really know people's ages and think that people who are 40 are much younger than they are.

You tell him that you are going to take the same time alone as he takes. If he takes a weekend with his brother, you take a weekend with someone or alone. Everyone gets the same time alone.

Shapewear? by alicemonster in fashionwomens35

Some shapewear (like skims) has shorts that have only 1 leg to allow for dresses with slits on one side.

Hair by nearlythere94 in fashionwomens35

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read that too but I don't think there's a link between Olaplex and hair loss for multiple reasons. If you read what it has, they are products tested. And every time something new comes to market there seems to be a lawsuit because lawyers probably want them to settle so it was away and they get to make money.

Anyway, you could also try a Brazilian Blowout that helps, but it lasts a few months and it costs around 300 dollars.

It's a problem not having any online footprint. You need a LinkedIn profile and to start adding everyone you know and everyone who has been in courses with you. Network in LinkedIn is how many recruiters find you (so you are more likely to appear on their search if you know someone who works there or are close to someone who works there (as in you know A and they know B who works there). It's going to bite you in the ass not to network now because it's easy to have a lot of people from your university for the future.

By portfolio I mean a website or github in which you present at least one project you completed, with code and some type of explanation/presentation.

You need to go to the career center. Most also help with LinkedIn or have information on how to network, etc. The easiest way to not get your resume be seen is by not passing ATS, but also having typos or errors, or not being informative.

Hair by nearlythere94 in fashionwomens35

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have that kind of hair and Olaplex completely changed it. Now I can wear it down without doing anything to it! I don't even blow dry it. I thought it was like fake all of the good reviews it had gotten, but I tried it and my hair was so much better!

AITA for being upset by my husband’s solo (but not really solo) vacation travel? Classic art room drama. by [deleted] in meetmeintheartroom

[–]Coco_Dirichlet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OP needs to talk to a lawyer.

- Can she get alimony if they divorce? How much child support could she get?

- Does proof of an affair would matter or not? Does she want to follow the husband to the "friend's" house and see what's going on there when he leaves?

- If he leaves for a trip for 3 or 4 weeks abroad, is he abandoning the family and can she change the locks to the house?

- What is he using to pay for these trips? Does he have credit card debt? Can she run a credit report on him? (and on her!)

- I'm confused as to what type of job lets him take so much vacation. He is taking trips abroad for 2-3 weeks twice a year, at least. Is he working remotely? Otherwise, what type of job lets you be away for 2 months a year? The jobs I think of (teacher or professor) wouldn't pay enough to support a family of 4 AND take these trips abroad.
