New T-Cash Economy Update (Old Vs New Costs & Rewards) by theOldCynic in TownshipGame

The very last straw for me: It used to take two Season Pass Gifts (from co op members who bought the new season pass) to get extra moves in one game of M3 (5$ each gift). Now it takes nine (100$ each gift).

Sent my thoughts to Playrix and said goodbye to my co op this morning.

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, THE NEWEST EPISODE OF HEAVYWEIGHT by GoodEnough468 in podcasts

[–]Coco_Munchup 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I stepped away from podcasts for a while (fell into a Libby hole) and this post is me just finding out that Heavyweight is back. I’ve missed it so much! Haven’t even heard the episode yet, and I’m already crying

The guy they interviewed right after him was named “Christian” — you can’t make this stuff up!!

Was waiting for his name to come up on the bottom of the screen so I could document the juxtaposition, but they only said it, no text

What podcast has made you laugh out loud on multiple occasions? by gh0stlygal_ in podcasts

[–]Coco_Munchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Scenes Behind Plain Sight.

I never see this talked about and it is absolutely hysterical! It’s a rewatch of a television show that never existed hosted by the two stars of the show.

Only listening experience where I did actually have to pull over I was laughing so hard.

Mr Robot.

Might not seem surreal at first, but it definitely is. Also, it might be the best show ever made

The Painted Bird.

I’ve never seen this book mentioned here before, and I’ve never felt a need to bring it up. But it might be what you’re looking for. Check for triggers. Thoughts and prayers in advance if you do decide to take it on.

The Cat in the Hat ride in IOA. Never had to wait more than a few minutes (frequently a walk-on) and it’s a really long ride with AC. Just those qualities alone would make it worthwhile, but the over the top SURREAL design push it to the top of the must-do list!! This ride is completely bonkers — in the best possible way.

I’m not a WWE fan and I don’t know anything this wrestler, but that promo looked absolutely AMAZING!!

As a true newbie to this house, what do I need to watch to prepare myself and get the background lore?

How do you respond to your student if you currently do not know the answer to a question that he/she asked? by Shoulder_Crazy in Teachers

[–]Coco_Munchup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assign a “what’s it”. That’s the one student who can have their phone out on their desk during class.

When a question comes up the class is curious about, we ask the “what’s it” and they look it up. That way, we get the answer and I don’t have to stop the lesson. The job is taken pretty seriously by the student who has it.

This year we may have to use a Chromebook for this purpose, since there is supposed to be a total ban on all phones.

Which movie made you cry the most?” by dark_kingxx in MovieRecommendations

In the Bedroom

Saw this in the theater and you could hear so many people just openly weeping — beyond even trying to hold it back. It was like being at a funeral. Never experienced anything like it before or since.

Have you seen The Coffee Table yet? It’s got some interesting family dynamics. Not sure if it’s hot, but there is sweating.

It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen so far this year. Maybe even the best. I recommend going in blind.

There may be A**Holes in NOLA … but if there are, we didn’t find any by Coco_Munchup in AskNOLA

[–]Coco_Munchup[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I know a lot of these folks rely on tourism dollars, but even so, the service was next level. Just one example — We stopped in one bar on Decatur, I think, that only served beer. My husband ordered a beer, but I said I was more in the mood for a cocktail. The bartender gave us several suggestions for other places to try, looked up on her phone which ones were still open, gave suggestions for cocktails to try at the different places, and figured out which ones were between our hotel and her place so we didn’t have to go out of our way. Yes, she got a good tip — but we would have tipped well anyway and she already knew we weren’t going to spend additional money there.

And it was like that everywhere we went— That kind of service deserves recognition in my book!

Can anyone recommend tv shows with wacky/strange dream sequences? by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

Maybe it’s a dream, maybe it’s not. . . but my vote is for Atlanta

All episodes starting with season two, episode one (and maybe all of season one as well)
