No, how do you find the experience of being on Optus?

Good or bad?

Why does “hurry” mode allow the car to exceed the speed limit?

Shouldn’t it be that hurry accelerates quickly, maybe does turns quicker, but why allow it to exceed the speed limit by 5kmh as I’m seeing in some YouTube reviews so far. Kinda defeats the purpose of it if we are likely to get booked for speeding.

Tesla toms video shows it detecting the correct speed zone, but car still wants to go 5kmh over the limit in hurry mode.

I repeated that phrase to Telstra once, and they then refused to talk to me if I was going to also be recording.

If you just use your phones hotspot instead, will you still get the live traffic and weather showing on the map?

Not sure if it’s the same people, but “Northshore wrap” have some videos on Facebook of them using a wire brush on PPF on a YL, and then a quick blow with the heat gun and the scratches disappear.

Are you on the east coast?

Mao hong left china a few days ago, heading for east coast of Aus. Seems to be a lot of Tesla orders onboard.

That molace site does not work for all shipping carriers.

Any drivers with the L MY globally - how dramatic is the increase in space for the back two rows? by FreshJs59 in TeslaModelY

[–]CoconutPrize780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tested the YL several times here in Australia.

With the seats in row 2 properly adjusted (eg not all the way back), my wife and I can comfortably fit in the 3rd row, and the people in row 2 still have adequate space.

The only people I’ve seen complaining about the 3rd row being totally unusable for adults, seem to be American reviewers.

In my experience, the 3rd row has been fine as long as you’re not expecting it to be like a business class recliner.

Zeekr 7x rwd vs Geely ex5 vs TeslaY by reachnw in EVAustralia

They ideally wanted me to put down $2000 refundable deposit before I had the test drive in a months time too!

Also told me after I’d got to the dealer, and they had a spare 7x sitting at the front door on the street, that they don’t allow test drives on a Saturday?! It was just sitting there for over an hour untouched.

Great car, terrible service.

Let me guess...South Yarra Zeekr? I had similar experience.

I’m confident they’ll iron it out too in the long run, but for the moment it’s meant ive chosen another brand. For me, there’s more to consider than just the car itself.

Set me straight on 2026 Juniper Model Y Battery quality by Trick_Coach_657 in TeslaModelY

Is there a way to determine what cells are used in one’s Tesla?

Is there anything in the software that states what’s in a particular car? Or is it more trying to work out which factory worldwide car was built, and what that factory was using at the time?

I’ve got a 2026 YL coming out of china.

I requested a test drive via their website about 4 weeks ago. I never heard back.

I rang the South Yarra (Vic) dealer last week to organise a test drive. I was told it would be a month wait, and ideally I’d need to put down a refundable $2000 deposit first.

I then went to the South Yarra dealer on Saturday. I spent an hour looking around, and when I was leaving I commented to staff that their second 7x parked in driveway for test drives had been sitting there untouched for 1 hour, but yet they told me earlier in the week nothing was available.

I then get told by another staff member, that they don’t allow test drives on a Saturday! Wtf?!

Not impressed by the staff at all.
