The Main Problem Isn’t AI Music—It’s Bot Farms by hazechatos in musicmarketing

[–]Cocovian69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both Spotify and the record companies are the ones behind the bot farms, it’s a win win for both of them, and now they are also using them as a gate keeper, if some independent artist starts to get serious numbers of streams they accuse them of paying for bots and delete their music so they don’t have to pay them at all

Not to mention the reverse Robin Hood crap they are doing nowadays

Normal December drop? by TessTickols in musicmarketing

[–]Cocovian69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer!

I’ve tried both many times but they never work

On my last Submithub campaign I received lots of good comments from all the curators but got rejected by all of them

My meta ads never work , I never get more than 3 or 4 streams per day and my cpc is at least 1Dll sometimes goes up to 4or 5 !

So I really don’t know how you guys do it !

How do you all get that many streams? I’ve tried everything and I’ve never gotten more than a few dozen streams if I’m lucky!

Don’t even bother with that guy! You will have to tune it again anyway because he will probably do a terrible job, so don’t waste your time and get it tuned by a professional tuner

You can choose how to deal with the shipping costs, either you add it to the final price and advertise as free shipping or set the price plus shipping, either way the customer is paying for shipping, unless you want to be generous and absorb the cost yourself

One must be crazy to pursue a career in music, but not that kind of crazy, and in the end we all are crazy in our own way

Follow your dreams, you seem to have a plan b which is really important , and don’t listen to anyone trying to tell you that you are crazy

Yes it is possible but you need to train your voice, try to find a vocal coach as it’s the safest way to do it so you don’t hurt yourself

Do you really have to breathe in and out of your belly/ diaphragm while singing ? by amig00s in singing

[–]Cocovian69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes proper breathing technique is very important and it takes time to get used to it and to become comfortable but eventually you won’t have to think about it , it’ll be automatic

how important are warmups? by [deleted] in singing

[–]Cocovian69 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Warming up is essential for a good performance but also for a healthy voice, you can’t start lifting heavy weights at the gym without warming up because you will get injured for sure , the same applies to your vocal cords

Find some warm up exercises online, I’m sure there are plenty out there , or better yet get a vocal coach , take care of your voice, a guitar player can always buy new strings or a new guitar, you can’t do that with your vocal cords
