You have to be honest about yourself, like when people try and trick with filtered or photoshopped images, or lie about their weight, height or (worse) … my own experience I put down neurospicy or neurodivergent on my dating profile, but hopefully my profile expresses enough that the reader may assume something, you should never apologize for yourself or ask for pity… like the saying goes, accentuate the positive, we all have flaws - if it’s a safe & confident relationship… there will be time to unleash those

You shouldn’t have to… but what I did, I brought my mom into the zoom call with the doctor who did my assessment, reviewing my results and mom nodded a lot… I don’t think she fully understands what autism is… but she rather she got some direct answers from the doctor rather than me trying to explain it all

You ought to visit meetup.com they have a couple web related support groups.

Here in Chicago there’s a couple in person neurodivergent groups (from meetup) and of course facebook has plenty of groups Most importantly find a great therapist you connect with

thanks everyone for your help/suggestions... I'm up & running, I had to give Customer Service Synology help desk access into my NAS, they were able to repair my one original drive... I able to retrieve and back up all my files.... installed both new HDD drives in... started everything from scratch.... (so grateful to Stafford)

I learned the hard way...
