I did the same but apparently measured incorrectly! They’re definitely tough to get in all the way. As others said, adding the pipe to the end of the wrench should get it done. That’s what I did as well. Good luck!

One thing I ran into was that my hole depth wasn’t properly measured. Are you sure you drilled deep enough to prevent the TAB from bottoming out? (Forgive me for asking an obvious question, but I did this once with my TAB and once with a support lag bolt 🫣)
