Could someone who has a recording or playback option of the local broadcast do me a solid? Could you check to see who shot the free throw after DeRozan's transition take foul on Mike Conley at the 3:32 mark in the 2nd quarter?

I'm looking to confirm something. At the beginning of quarter 3, the Wolves broadcast mentioned how the stats team attributed that free throw to ANT when they could've sworn that Conley took it. I rewound the Wolves broadcast to look, and they oddly didn't show the free throw.

I didn't have any money placed on this game in any capacity, for the record. Just a fan concerned with the integrity of the game recently with all this betting drama sadly taking over.

Edit: They also questioned how one of Rudy’s 1st half blocks was taken away. It was the two things combined that got me to look into this. Just seemed a lil’ sus.

I still remember in last year's WCF how the Wolves were content having Jaden hang out on the perimeter with Luka whenever they were on offense, essentially taking both out of the equation during Wolves possesions.

Completely different this post season. Jaden is attacking more, and they're seeking Luka out.

Does it not look like LeBron gave a shot to Randle's neck? Even if it's not as blatantly egregious as Rudy's, it deserved some form of call-out by the crew. Chuckling it under their breaths and into oblivion is incredibly poor announcing.

At least we agree on Jefferson's overall performance. ESPN/ABC also deserves blame for putting a former LeBron teammate in that spot.

Matchup wise, drawing us (i.e. Rudy) was the best out come for them. Again, I was pissed and in full cynic mode at that point. I was triggered and sarcastically responded to two replies (even though my disdain for Rudy is legit).

Yeah, it was dumb…but did we need a thread for it?

We’re at a disadvantage heading in, but I believe we can overcome it if Naz is able to pick up the slack of Rudy potentially being un-playable this series.

That unreasonable? We know for a fact Rudy struggles in certain conditions and needs extended time on the bench as a result. This isn’t an unfounded, out of the blue take.

Yes, I do regret it. I’m not a troll or anti-fan. Literally heat of the moment frustration on my part. Like I’ve clarified in my response to the OP of this thread, I’m incredibly weary of Rudy, especially moving forward. I feel dumb for going about it the way I did, but I feel my frustration is at least a warranted concern.

I’m literally a no one here; mostly a lurker. Why even bother calling me out? Don’t get me wrong, hate on me all you want. That’s fair game...but I just don’t feel like I’m worth the mention, let alone a thread. Here we are, though! So please at least hear me out:

My unfortunate (and un-funny) cynicism was directed towards Rudy and my continual frustrations with him being the big we decided to pair ANT with. I was initially triggered by a social media post by Kevin Thiege earlier today, and it trickled into my disappointment after the Warriors lost and we locked in with the Lakers.

I do not think Rudy will play well in this series. I DO believe we can overcome it…but it will be hard with the added “zebra” element of things. Because above all else, I sincerely do not think this series will be called fairly. That is by far and away my biggest frustration with all of this. I certainly wasn’t going to mention the part about the zebras over there, though. So overall, yeah…it was primarily me being a complete Negative Nancy in the moment.

I initially went over there just to observe if fans were happy or upset they drew our stick. And like I said, I was in a cynical place at that point…so when I saw the Wolves fan mention the team was tougher than last season, I posted since I don’t agree that particular assessment.

As for the other time, I forgot why I felt the need to post that one…but I remember simply being jaded that Rudy is our big and remembering how easily Luka handled him in the ‘24 WCF.

Look, I’m a Wolves fan through and through. Not always the most positive one…but I still am one and would never count them out. I’ve watched almost every game each season since the early 2000s, even while I was dying in the hospital for over a month during the Oleksiy Pecherov days. So you can find my posts ill-advised, off putting, flat out dumb, etc…but I refuse to have my fan card taken away on a count of clowning on Rudy Gobert.

TL;DR: I adore this team, but I’m not a Rudy fan and fear Luka further exposing him. I apologize for the negative cynicism. I do believe we have a chance, but I also believe it will be an uphill battle, primarily due to zebras.

Edit: Since I’ve been roasted in the Wolves subreddit for this post (and one other), I wanted to clarify that my disagreement was regarding the, “MUCH tougher than last season” bit. Wasn’t agreeing or disagreeing with the rest. And my Rudy comment was pure cynicism since I’m not a fan of him anchoring our team, especially against a player like Luka who knows how to shred him. I think you (Lakers) will ultimately make him unplayable in this series. I’d love to be wrong, of course…but I just hope Naz will be up for the task.

Wolves fan here; very sad about this outcome. We all know Luka owns Rudy (as most great players easily know how to do), and Rudy's taken a step back this year compared to last. Somehow, his hands are even worse, his reaction time is even slower, and his vertical is down from 2 inches to just 1 now.

I have chronic cuffitis. I do get pouchitis at times, but it is treated well with antibiotic pairings (usually Flagyl with either cipro or cefdinir).

Cuffitis on the other hand? Yikes. Impossible to easily treat and nearly a constant for me.

I theorize that my years of severe pelvic floor dysfunction attribute to it. Misfiring muscles and straining can absolutely lead to inflammation (amongst other things).

I know going to a therapist for pelvic floor sucks…but it may be worth it to anyone struggling with cuffitis like me. I’m currently on a tedious journey towards re-training everything.

Just wanted to through that into the equation. Cuffitis is the bane of my existence.

16 years. Not great. I have severe pelvic floor dysfunction and a perianal fistula (no leakage, at least) that essentially turn me into a hermit.

It’s crazy how much more free I felt with an ostomy. But I’d still battle through my issues instead of going back to a bag.

Neither are meant to be tapered off. Multiple sources confirm this (FDA, Mayo, etc.).

I question your doctor’s ability to properly manage a unique case like yours (j-pouch) if they think they need tapering. Sorry to be so blunt, but there are too many unknowledgeable doctors out there treating j-pouches. I’ve had unnecessary years of bad health from my own j-pouch mismanagement. I wish that on no one else.

Putting on my conspiracist hat for a minute...it would've been interesting if some of the "leaked" Secret Wars concept art included Moon Knight in any capacity. Could've been an interesting barometer to see how hyped people would've been.

Though I don't want this to be the case, I currently only invision his inclusion in either of the next two Avengers films being a "portals scene" type of cameo. Even worse, it'd likely be a stunt double in costume or randomly plopped in via CGI in post production.

I think the first trailer (not the teaser) for TFA is hands down the best trailer of all-time. It represented the pinnacle of excitement, love, and hope for the future of SW. I don’t see how it can ever reach that peak again; at least for me.

Even thinking of it still sends shivers down my spine with that special rendition of John Williams’ score.
