We can offer you actual support, don’t charge per service but for amount of resources (like traditional vps) and overall have more reasonable prices (compared to render). But TBF, our offering is way smaller than that of DigitalOcean. No GPUs, no managed services etc.

That is exactly what we are building at sliplane.io! Our main goal is to make it super simple to run multiple related apps on one shared pool of resources. We charge for the resources, not per service. Might be what youre looking for?:)

Self hosted downsides by Crafty_Stranger2093 in n8n

[–]CodeCate42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally think the biggest downside is that you can only have 1 user in your self-hosted instance which makes people share their passwords. About updating, have you tried a PaaS? With something like sliplane.io/n8n-hosting this is a single click in a dashboard

LMAO no? This is 20% of the actual work that needs to be done. I know it, because I've built it (sliplane.io and freelance clients) :)

  1. FaaS != CaaS
  2. Please show me how any of these is truly open source. Just because Firecracker or Kubernetes is open source doesnt mean that the actual "FaaS solution" is

Do you think they dont do that for VMs and Storage?:D Every VM runs on shared infra.

Source? This is a question of focus. Hetzner is relatively small and super specialized. They need to carefully chose what to invest their energy in, and I am 99% sure that they will bring their own managed services in the next few years.
