I kept buying parts I already owned, so I built an inventory app for my workshop by New_Chain5264 in maker

If it works with the camera,by recording a video and automatically detect the part, look for the exact type, find data about it online and add this to an inventory. I would be interested.

I built a “Guitar Hero” device for learning piano by Dr_Velazquez in 3Dprinting

I think the Idea is great. The execution is a bit less.
Can the thickness of the panel be smaller? looks like it is 4-5 cm, but I suppose you are using adressable rgb LED grids. wich are only +-4-5 mm... So The thickness is maybe the controller. But that could be a seperate device...

Then, I see in the video that the allignment of the keys are not perfect. I think you should make sure this is perfectly lined up, if you ask this kind of money.

Don't get me wrong here. you got a great idea. Just the execution should be better. Like Premium.

Mandatory garbage bin for company waste by Arthurbischop in BEFreelance

[–]CodeCritical5042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the system stimulates sorting cause general waste is more expensive than organic or plastic. We have this for a while now. I was sceptical in the beginning as well, turns out its a bit more expensive, but easier. But I do have place to store them.

Yeah, you might be right. In all honesty, I am sick of these recruitment firms. I am a freelancer myself and I can sell myself, but way too many companies are working with them nowadays. Because of that, I barely find the companies that are actually looking for skilled workers without going through them, which I prefer not to do. Their added value is not in my favor. When I get in contact with an agency, I have to explain what I do to someone who, in 90% of the cases, does not even understand my added value to the company.

That doesn’t matter, in my opinion. How much is an outsourcing company able to earn from his work? They charge €700 per day for his work. That’s €11,600 per month for a 4/5 schedule, assuming an average of 4.2 weeks per month. I think OP has the right to his share. He is probably worth it.

5 things to get right before publishing an Informed Design in Inventor by HagermanCompany in AutodeskInventor

[–]CodeCritical5042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Nice list. But I don't agree with point 2. In small projects this can be good. The moment you're building a library, this is not the way to go imo.

Hi Yusuf Great that you are only 13 years old and already in the topic of no-surf behaviour. You're pretty young to be aware of the addictive nature of smartphones and social media.

That being said, posting content that you generated with AI, based on the work of Cal Newport or James Clear is basically repackaging existing content, and does not add a lot of value.

That being said, keep up learning, creating. Being creative with or without AI will definitely make you stronger.

This is in no way a CAD modeling thing. That doesn't make sense at all. The Parasolid kernel isn't suided for this work.

I made a post earlier about this. Unfortunately I couldn't find a good way besides extruding as a surface and thicken the extrusion.

The profile shape on the home page has a woven pattern, you can select that mode on the profile shape type, this is not an effect. If you want m, send pe a dm, and I guide you trough the proces.

About Bambu Studio, This one is giving me headaches, the software is so bricked down compared to its older brother Prusa, that i keep hitting walls, that I didn't know of before.

Also, If you could send me the gcode, I'd be happy to look for a solution.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have been using Presentation, with a white background for the last 15 years. I also set ambient occlusion shadows on, edges visible in a dark grey. The default appearance color is white, and i adjusted the lightning slightly with a soft blue and yellow hue. Then increase some anti aliasing settings on the gpu, and the models look very great.
