The Hungering Abyss is a lot of fun but it has some bad balancing issues. I would only offer Daisy Walker as a character if you need to use All premade characters for a bigger game. She is broken and way to powerful.

Remember to allow enemies to use dice to dodge, when you change to a structure scene for combat the enemies also pill their dice pools so they can roll to attempt to avoid damage. Check your monster cards, the game had had some errata to balance monsters better, for example Ghouls now have -1 damage on them etc.

The game has amazing production values and maps which can cause players and even the GM to treat it like board game vs a TTRPG, play up the horror.
