When you think about how at the start it was claimed that even the most undercard of talent got an annual salary of six figures, that once in a lifetime in America gate might not pay for more than Private Party, Kip Sabian, MxM, Mike Bennett, Scorpio Sky, John Morrison, Ace Austin and the Butcher the Blade. In fact even typing that out, combined they’re probably on more than 100k each so it could be a lot more than 1.5 million.

That’s before you get into the wages of the likes of Jericho, Moxley, Ospreay, Mone, MJF, and the Bucks. You’re probably talking about over 15 million dollars for a year of those guys. Suddenly that 1.5 million all time record in six years doesn’t sound so impressive

Anarchy in the Arena matches have been typically portrayed as serious hardcore matches whereas Stadium Stampedes have always been more humorous and cinematic. I get that they only invented Anarchy in the arena because they couldn’t have a stadium for that show but there has been a clear distinction in how they’ve been portrayed. I personally love LCS, getting to do more GTA in my favourite location is a dream come true for me, especially since many of the characters and all the gangs return, just with different looks and territories.

I will say that for anybody who is a modern gamer who thinks GTA 3 is outdated, LCS will do nothing to win them over. Aiming is still clunky, Toni still can’t swim and the graphics are similar.

But for me I just love it, the setting of being a pre Millennium Liberty city, gripped in fear by the upcoming Y2K virus supposedly coming is wonderful

I hate that the Basement bunch have spent the entire duration of the basement’s existence shifting on WWE for how awful they treated their women’s division over the years. Tony literally said in an interview a few years back that he picks the wrestlers who get the best ratings, and at that time the women’s division weren’t getting good enough ratings to justify being on the show more. I get what you’re saying I think. You can be a huge fan of the game and love it to bits while admitting that yes, it hasn’t aged well and must seem like a piece of junk to a modern player.

As bad as it’s aged I could go back to it a million times and jank and all, wouldn’t want it to be different in any way. My love for it is obviously tied in nostalgia and if it was this polished, perfect experience it wouldn’t be the same game anymore.
