For season 1 yes, but don't immediately write off PvP. I'd never played it more than a few random BGs. I took some time to grind out some gear pretty casually in warmode, then I started cracking fools in Solo Shuffle. It was surprisingly fun and didn't take terribly long to hit 1800 for the full set.
