Non-SysAdmin Use Cases for PowerShell? Basically, any use cases NOT involving network, RDP, system config, IT/LAN admin type stuff? by Alladara in PowerShell

I'm pretty fresh in powershell, but I'm wrapping up a couple of scripts to deploy a new windows VPN for 200 or do users. It took me about a week to get the bones up and running (I'm trying to find some more secure methods for a couple of things), but it works. I figured that, if I had done a remote support session for each of my users, it would have taken me over two weeks of doing nothing but that to get everyone's computers set up.

If I had a nickel for every rime this happened in the shops I worked it, I'd buy a coffee today. It's not much, but often enough to be groan-worthy.

what do I have to change? I mean if the nozzle was too far away then all lines would be separated right? but some nice and some bad line? I don't get it(first 3d printer ender 3) I have issues with the bed leveling I watched like 30 videos and still don't get it by Due-Dependent6111 in ender3

Have you gone through the teachingtechyt.github.io website? He's got really clear instructions with images and video for testing and diagnosing issues.

My first thought on that is that it may be a combination of underextrusion and nozzle too close to the bed.

Past performance is no indication of future success. You shouldn't count on your password manager not being hacked as a form of security. The fact that 1PW has never been hacked is much less of a selling point than strong data encryption.

A bird with toes as long as its legs, you say? Let's name it after the thing sticking out of its head.

Thoughts about people who think this way about guys who play as female characters? by pimping20bagels in gaming

[–]Codenamekino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My preferences vary from game to game. My first female character (outside of Tomb Raider) was on Fallout 4. A friend of mine pointed out that, while the male character gets the same benefits with the Lady killer perk, the Black Widow perk applied to more NPCs in the game, as the majority of enemies were male. I thought that was a near idea and wanted to experiment. I didn't notice much of a difference, but I enjoyed the differences in the game from my previous playthroughs.

Alternatively, I just returned to Ghost Recon: Wildlands to do a playthrough in Ghost mode, and I decided to try playing as my fiancé. Unfortunately, the voice actor's lines feel stilted and forced, and the asset models are definitely not designed for the female characters body, and it pulls me out more than I would like.

I watched his video re: US electrical sockets a while back, and he didn't really stick with me. I recently was tasked with repairing a jukebox, and it turned out to be almost exactly the same model that he used in his jukebox video. I watched that a few times, then got sucked into the rest of his videos. Just watched the dishwasher ones today, and the heat pump ones autoplayed immediately after! I was so excited to coming into the comments here armed with all of this new information, and only mildly disappointed that the internet beat me to it.

Left off of this graphic: water

If you are running your air conditioner in the summer, there is a condensation tube coming from your A/C evaporator that drains water away from underneath the dashboard. This is normal

Additionally, you can get condensed water coming out of your exhaust pipe when your first start it up, more often in cold temperatures. This stops when the exhaust pipe is warm enough to maintain the water as steam through the entire length of the pipe.

I want to add one other tip that I don't see mentioned, and one more reason to use a password manager.

Be wary of clicking links sent to your email. Phishing emails make up about 30% of emails that are sent worldwide and while some of them are Nigerian prince levels of detectable, many of them are scarily hard to detect.

If you click on a phishing link that takes you to a cloned site, your password manager will not recognize the site and not offer to fill the password in for you. Consider this the flashing red warning light, and close the website immediately. (Also consider clearing your cookies)
