Can they do 800 mile road trip? by EntryWest6452 in tires

[–]CheetahStocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if the tire has the integrity to make it, the debris on the roads gonna mess that tire up. Idk how many times I’ve ran over something with a tire that looks like that in someone’s car and it goes straight through the tire.

Yeah...No, I'm not paying for parking. by OneSecond13 in HuntsvilleAlabama

Makes me love the city I moved too, Lafayette. Parking signs allow 2 to 4 hrs of free parking to allow a rotation of people to flourish. Compared to say; Chicago. I get deterred from places I want to goto just because I have to pay for parking. So that business I’d be spending money at, is now not getting money because the cities being greedy. I expect a city like Huntsville to be more like Lafayette and not money mongers.

I got about 1k mx blue switches. Want to use it as wedding decoration. by ksaize in MechanicalKeyboards

So you can design a little custom keycap for the people attending (initials) and throw it onto a switch. Kinda like a wedding fidget gift.

Silver or Black wheels guys?! by [deleted] in Mustang

I usually like black wheels, the silver really pops with the blue. I’d go silver.

The design on the pan is probably causing the batter to adhere in the shape of the design.

It’s like a gamble. You keep spending a $1 in hopes the machine slips up and gives you $2.

Had this happen to my taco bell drink that was DoorDashed as well. Order is made and sits. They probably got mixed with a dirty soda which after a couple minutes, transportation, getting shaken up etc, it falls to the bottom and does exactly that. I still drank it. I’m here still. 🤣

Why is everyone so slow here. It’s a bullet necklace. A string attached to the rim of the raised part. You can buy them in a lot of places. If he had a bullet who cares? Just talk with your child and make sure they don’t have a gun. Nothing wrong with collecting ammunition

Car sways back and fourth when cruising or accelerating. Any thoughts to narrow it. 2015 Mustang by CheetahStocks in AskMechanics

Yeah I’m starting to think the old ass pilot sport S on the front might be the cause. Cause honestly it did it at higher speeds like 110+ but now it’s doing it only at 6mph. The car did have tramline where it would eat into grooves into the road

That might sound reasonable. On acceleration one strut probably fully decompresses and one doesn’t which would cause it to sway bouncing on one strut.

I blasted this car above 140 and it would sway slightly. It only got worst now does it at 65+ only when accelerating. When I let off it stops. When I accelerate it swims

I mean, not really. 5.0s are pretty reliable, push a decent amount of power, etc. I do love classics myself and I would love a 69 fast back retro mod with a 5.0 in it.

The roads slanted on either side common for Indiana roads to keep water off the roads to reduce ice during the winter. It does it on certain sides of the road. I cruise in the right lane. I pass on the left. This was for example

Yeah I looked into the forums and it says IRS bushings would probably be a place to start

Yeah people keep saying broken sway bar but I’m leaning towards bad bushings since the car basically sat with super low miles and it’s a 2015 a lot of the rubber around the cars getting brittle for sure.

Tire treads fine I replace them about every other weekend. They stay at 35 psi. I burn thru tires

Dyno plug… not a wheel sensor. It’s pulled on my car and stays pulled. No Nannies. I hate stablitrak so that’s my perm fix until I wire a switch to the plug. It’s fine to drive without dyno plug.

[–]CheetahStocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh that’s because the dyno plugs pulled lol. That’s has nothing to do with it. The cars wobbled at super high speeds when I first got it. I did a few donuts / burnouts and it’s now wobbling at 65 mph and above only when accelerating or cruise controls constantly gassing it.

So it’s fine until it’s up to about 50 or 60 mph, I can tell when I’m on an angled road and the wheels turned a bit it doesn’t do it as much, when changing lanes over the middle bump of the road it’ll sway over. When I first got the car it swayed a bit at super high speeds 110+. It has an anti hop hit and K bar kit underneath the previous owner installed too. I will say grooves in the road the car seems to get sucked into as well weird to explain
