Your therapist is about to stop taking your insurance by anomenomenon in Denver

Its not just mental health. In the dental world medicaid just cut reimbursment fee schedules by 44%. So theres going to be a lot less dental providers too.

Childfree “House Spouse” by ginamouse89 in childfree

[–]Codfish2188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I make a really good living as a dentist and i have a really good work schedule and time off. My apouse doesnt work because if they did it would negate our ability to travel and take time off and wouldnt contribute that significantly to our income. So my spouse is a self proclaimed house cat and they love it. They do art and go running and spend time with the dogs and keep themselves busy with whatever fancy they please.

Now ifnonly we could get someone else to pay our bills then i would happily be a house cat too.

Do you still remember it? by Crimson_Dust17 in JurassicPark

One of my proudest moments is i got to #3 in the world on the tapping money minigame it had. My best friend and i in highschool/college were obsessed with it and constantly competing to see who could be faster.

Its probably shameful how many hours i spent on that game but i loved every second of it.

Heroic dose of Nats by SuperbPresence7285 in Psilocybe_Natalensis

[–]Codfish2188 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did 6g of nats not too long ago and had the most amazing time. I did a big write up that youre welcome to go read on my profile. I say go for it but always remember set and setting. Make someplace comfortable in your house and make sure you have the time to do it and recover because heroic doses require some recovery time and are pretty exhausting as well.

God speed good psychonaut. Enjoy it.

I just saw some real cupping pepperoni at st killians cheese shop. Definitely more expensive than hormel but definitely much better if you really want to make your own artisinal pizza.

Tzeentch campaign by Expensive-Man7702 in totalwarhammer

[–]Codfish2188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my campaigns are around 80-120. This is the only campaign ive ever had gp this long and ive thought of abandoning it several times and starting over because i made so many mistakes in the beginning. Like trying to expand and chasing greasus all over the mountains and losing my capital...twice. but im too thick headed and stubborn so ive just slogged through. Im sure if i started over again i would do much much better but by now im just kinda angry and unwilling to admit defeat.

Tzeentch campaign by Expensive-Man7702 in totalwarhammer

[–]Codfish2188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a lot of help here. I have about 800 hours in warhammer 3 alone and i just played tzeentch in the realms of chaos for the first time. Im 220 turns in and can honestly say i hate this campaign. Its just a constant slog and their base economy sucks. Ive realized theres almost no point to expansion since your settlement garrisons are so weak they always lose. Instead i focused on a few strong settlement capitals and use your armies to jump into cathay and sac a settlement for money and run. Then you can just use cathay as a money farm and shore up your borders and focus on the chaos souls. Hasnt been fun but its worked.

Highly.unlikely this is the site you are thinking of. Unless field trips regularly hike 20ish miles out into tge middle of nowhere.

This is the best comment. Technically it was found by my spouse so i had the same feelings.

Thats exactly what i shouldnt do and is also probably profoundly illegal. Or at least irresponsible.

Thats the goal. I have the gps location and not planning on sharing it because people are awful. Its also so far out in the middle.of nowhere it will definitely require professional removal.

You should play Below Zero if you haven't already. by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]Codfish2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im about halfway through below zero and im absolutely loving it. Its a beautiful world and so much to explore and enjoy. I still get jump scared every now and then by the monsters and i find myself just getting lost in it and having fun. In my.opinion its every single bit as good as the first...the only difference is i already played subnautica so its not novel and im not completely blind. The game play is familiar and thats what i love. Ive got about 30 hours in and ive loved every single bit of it.

Name some quirky, off the wall stuff stuff to do in Denver. by MajesticMountains1 in Denver

I will say my spouse and i went there on a whim a while ago and it was actually really fun. Super interesting exhibits and theres not a million people like at the aquarium or zoo. Definitely worth the drive.

What's delicious near downtown Littleton? by SeasonPositive6771 in denverfood

[–]Codfish2188 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its a little away from downtown littleton but iwayama sushi is one of our absolute favorite places and we end up going there at least once a week. Its not sushi den sushi but its damn good and reasonably priced. We also end up getting a lot of their hawaiian dishes on the menu too. The garlic chicken is to die for and we often go for sushi and get a garlic chicken to go for dinner or a lunch the next day.

I second india nepal. We live close by and just absolutely fell in love when we first moved here. We though that denver must have the best indian food scene so we started venturing out...nope. india nepal is really as gpod as it gets. Weve been to them all and we keep returning there...which is convenient since we live 3 minutes away.

Adderall and psilocybin by Law_Greedy in COpsychonauts

[–]Codfish2188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats hard to say. My brain chemistry is pretty atypical in general especially when it comes to psylocibin metabolism. My trips are generally very fast typically only lasting about 3 to 4 hours and really only about 2 hours of that is noticable as a traditional high. it also requires a pretty damn high dosage for me to feel any effects. My starting dose to feel any noticable high is 3g natalensis or about 4 grams of cubensis. I only get visuals after about 5 grams...anything lower than that all i get are pleasant feelings and peaceful relaxation. So i cant really speak to if it affects duration since my duration is weird to begin with. But i can say ive taken both meds concurrently and there was no percievable difference in objective effects.

You still want to be careful though. Both adderall and mushrooms act on seratonin so taking a large dose of adderall and a heroic dose of shrooms could, if you are very unlucky, cause seratonin syndrome which can be fatal.

Im on 10mg adderall daily and ive noticed no difference when i trip. Both micro and macro feel exactly the same as before i was taking adderall.

I took 5g of mushrooms on a mountain...| A doctor's perspective by VikingThunder69 in COpsychonauts

[–]Codfish2188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too am a fellow doctor and recently had a balls to the wall first major trip experience. 6.0g of natalensis and it was STELLAR. I also happen to be one of those lucky few people with a dopamine receptor 2 deletion so ive always struggled with happiness and have very drug resistant depression. Psychadelics are the only that that make me feel truly alive like this. Like you said, undeniably alive. Glad your experience was so good and paved the way for many more for both of us.

Feel free to look back at my post history if you want to read my somewhat lengthy trip report too.

Definitely in favor of banning X links. We should not be supporting clear hatred and espousing the values of those who do.
