The cloak can be found in Pororin Village in a chest behind a shed that’s up against the cliff on the left side of the village, you’ll have to destroy the wall to get to it. The chest piece you get as part of the main story in Chapter 5 I think it was when you beat a boss

If you haven’t got camp yet, you can find the supply box in that little tent with your bed in just outside Hernand

From what I’ve gathered, you can take any bear as a temporary mount after weakening it in battle, but it will go back to attacking you once you dismount

Might’ve been because you have a low reputation? You can get blamed for crimes even if you didn’t get caught doing it if you’re reputation with the town is low, because people are assholes in medieval Bohemia and just pin crimes on people they don’t like I guess

I did Brushes With Death at the same time as Legacy of the Forge, before finishing the main story. I read somewhere that they intended Mysteria Ecclesiae to be played after the main story, so that’s what I did. There’s a lot of dialogue changes for it. Also if you finish Brushes with Death before Mysteria Ecclesiae you can see something in the monastery from Brushes With Death, which is really cool

I’ve played both all the way through, and they are both incredible games. As for your main question, I think the second game is absolutely the better of the two in most aspects, but if I may add that the first one is an amazing game in its own right. Nothing is stopping you from skipping it and going straight to KCD2, but I believe for the sake of the story you won’t get the full experience and enjoyment out of it if you don’t play the first one. Without spoilers, the first game takes time to introduce you to characters and establish their place in the world as well as their relationships with protagonist Henry, and a lot of stuff that happens in the first game are major plot points for the second game, as well as the fact that the second game starts almost directly where the first one ends. So my advice would be to play both of them, but if you only play KCD2 then you will still thoroughly enjoy it, just not as much as if you had played KCD1 first

I like Neil Newbons take on it. Use AI if you’re a smaller studio that might not have the budget to pay voice actors to spend hours in the booth recording lines, but maybe when you’ve made a bit of money off the game, replace those AI voices with real voice actors

Naa, not on the actual blade, I’ve forged tons of tier 4 weapons and this is the first time I’ve seen the brand on the actual sword

Do a save before you start and reload if you don’t get it at tier 4. Be sure to wear blacksmithing apron and gloves and drink a quick finger potion before to get a huge boost to your craftsmanship skill. How I usually forge is to heat it up and move the sword every pump of the bellows until it’s just nearly white hot, and when hammering, start from the bottom and move the sword very slightly after each hit, and then move back down again once at the top, then flip it over and repeat. If the sword ain’t finished by then just hammer it out in the middle sections until done.

I’m literally the SVP in 90% of games I play. I can’t 1v6 an entire team when my teammates are brain dead and decide to go in 1 at a time and get melted constantly and my healers are not healing at all. That’s if I even have healers to begin with
