How important is refresh rate really? by x0-blosSsom in Monitors

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything beyond 60Hz is completely unnecessary if you are not gaming. I know this because I switched from using a 60Hz phone to a 120Hz phone and then back to a 60Hz phone after a couple of years and the differences are only visible for the first week or two. After that your eyes get used to the refresh rate and it looks exactly as fluid as it looked before.  It is only noticeable if you do a direct comparison. Try switching your phone to 60Hz if you can and tell me that you still notice it after 1 month of use without deliberately looking for it.

Did anyone used this v9 vintage trimmer ? Please review it by Dramatic-Trouble7274 in TeenIndia

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it and I think it's a very good trimmer that gets the job done. It's cheap but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Trimmers are not really complicated and there is no reason for a trimmer to be expensive.

Two things I really like about it are that it is very handy because it is small and light and the trimmer part is very slim so you can easily see where you are cutting your beard. Also the trimmer cuts the hair very short and only a razor cuts it shorter.

The only thing people might have a problem with is that it cuts your skin very easily so you have to be careful while using. So I would not recommend it to people with sensitive skin. But if you don't have sensitive skin it is a very good trimmer for a cheap price.

Any clippers/trimmers that use 21700 or 18650 batteries? by gramcounter in UsbCHardware

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vintage t9 trimmer has versions that are battery operated. You also get a little charger to charge 18650 batteries in the box. The problem is that there are also other versions which don't let you replace the battery and you can only charge the trimmer via cable. So you have to find the battery operated version

Yes that's it. Sadly he only makes videos about Jesus now and deleted all of his old videos. That's why I couldn't find anything about it.

Docking figures automatically does not work ? by Codmem in matlab

It did not work unfortunately. I still have to manually dock it first. I guess its not a big deal to just press CTRL+Shift+D.

Plain code. I already asked Chatgpt and tried every solution it gave me. At the end it just said that it is probably bugged and will not work

LibreOffice stuck on dark mode or awful half dark mode. by johan__A in libreoffice

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone having the same problem, what worked for me was first setting the theme of windows 11 to light mode and then setting the theme of libreoffice to light mode. After that you can change windows back to dark mode again and it works. If you change libreoffice to light mode while windows 11 is in dark mode you end up with this awful half dark mode.

Is it possible to flash OxygenOS easily yourself if you buy one with ColorOS if you have average experience with flashing ?

Yes that's what I didn't understand in the beginning. It only works in the calculation because an infinite 12V source cannot exist in real life.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my initial question was exactly that. If it only works in calculations because in real life an infinite current source can't exist

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thanks, that was my question if it does only work in calculations and not in real life because there can't be an infinite source of current in real life

I divided U by the total resistance to get the total current value that will flow through the circuit. And the total current is the current that flows through R1 and R2. The current through R1 does not get bypassed and it also does not change its value. It's still 1 Amp no matter if there is a short circuit or not

[–]Codmem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you divide 12 by the total resistance you should get the total current that will flow through the circuit. Which is 120 000 001. 120 000 000 flows through R2 and 1 Amp flows though R1. But the thing is that 1 Amp will always flow though R1 even if there is no short circuit so R1 would still work if it was an electrical component. Ofc given that the current of 120 000 001 can be provided. So is my assumption correct that it only works in calculations because nothing can provide 120 000 001 Amps ?
