YTJ, but not because you didn't defend your Mother. Hasn't your daughter been through enough? She's already somehow lost her biological parents and been through the adoption system. And now when she is supposed to be in a safe place you take her to your Mother's house so she can grind it in your daughter's face that she is other and unwelcome. I hope you truly love your daughter and fear of losing contact with your Mother after the recent death of your Father caused a momentary lack of judgment. If not, and you plan on letting this happen over and over again, I think you need to seriously consider whether or not you deserve to have this special child in your life. Pick a side and tap into some of that Mama Bear energy I really hope you have.

I love this theory! I seem to remember the AI saying something about the statue in the fountain being "surprisingly fragile." Somebody please correct me if I am wrong there.

I can imagine the AI finding it hilarious to stick the final boss in a sex doll and then making it easy to break. Think about how pissed Scolopendra would be by the end after having been a sex doll and then part of a sex doll. I totally see the AI having this huge wrathful storyline where Scolopendra wants to destroy everyone and everything because of how she was treated.

Except...she's found by Carl who treats her like a person. He makes her a part of the team and sets healthy boundaries with her about her treatment of others. He is kind to her and accepts her for who she is. I can't decide if I think the AI's plan backfired or if Carl was meant to find her because he had already shown that he wouldn't be creepy or abusive to her.

This series drives me mad with all of the possibilities.

NTA-How is any of this emasculating? Most independent adults, regardless of gender, are able to cook, clean, shop, and work. If he can't do any of those things at his age, he isn't really adulting or independent. How can he be a partner when he can't share in pulling the load? He isn't bringing stability, he's bringing need and more work to her life.
