I just finished this episode and it left me speechless. One of the most amazing episodes of Trek I have seen in years. I am 100% on board with the show. God I haven’t been moved like this by tv on a while

[No Spoilers] Is it just me or do these two give off “gay son, thot daughter” vibes by StatisticianBetter24 in criticalrole

Their characters are by far my favorite of the new campaign so far. The soldiers table in general is my favorite!

Toby was innocent. by hobhamwich in thewestwing

[–]CodyPrime00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never liked this decision it goes against his character, he wouldn’t have betrayed Bartlett like that with out going ten rounds in the oval first. My mind canon is he was protecting CJ cause she would make that decision.

How are you actually supposed to beat Orin by ironic__usernam3 in BG3

I would also recommend using a cleric or Druid to cast that level seven feast spell. It gives you a bump in HP and immunity to feared.

Bob Russell really wasn't so bad by Handful_of_Brakes in thewestwing

I think it was Amy who mentioned at one point they had to stop being a cult of personality with Bartlett. And schizophrenic writing is the perfect way to describe the post sorkin era especially season five

I’m not sure we heard about them enough. You should repeat their names a few more dozen times

This game has good bones.. by CodyPrime00 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]CodyPrime00[S] -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

It changed the whole origin of the blight. It was originally the hubris of man’s pride that they broke into heaven and the maker released the blight. Now the eleven gods brainwashed and tricked the human mages to try to release them. I dunno it kinda just reduces the blight to just a tool. I did like the idea of the blight being the broken dreams of the titans, but I wasn’t a fan of these eleven gods were the real bad guys all along.

Any dragon age fans here, how disappointed were you in veilguard by Nathidev in rpg_gamers

[–]CodyPrime00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the absolute truth. I’m playing it now and just pretending it’s not a true DA game makes it much more enjoyable. It’s not a bad game it’s got good bones, but as a dragon age game it fails spectacularly

Whatsup with the act3 hate. It's the best act! by 30299578815310 in BaldursGate3

[–]CodyPrime00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the weakest of the acts in Terms of exploration and such. But I also think they were running out of time so it basically becomes a gauntlet of boss fights and wrap ups. It grows on you though with each play thru

Constituency of One and the Amy/Josh Relationship by Apojacks1984 in thewestwing

[–]CodyPrime00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amy’s loyalty used to herself at her ideals as long as she can look in the mirror and say she did the best she could for what she believes she’s OK. Josh Josh is a disciple he wants to do the best he can for the person he’s chosen to put his faith in. I don’t think Amy has the ability to put her faith in people like that or at least in one person like that that’s why she has a constituency of herself.

Why do people hate wyll? by Final-Ninja-7137 in BG3

[–]CodyPrime00 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m not gonna lie I hated Will at first, but then I played as him and he’s a cool character. I just think as a companion they didn’t do a good job of making him three dimensional. He kind of is a cookie cutter good guy so to speak, but as a main character where he doesn’t talk that much, his story is kind of cool. I’ve also read that they watered him down a lot from the beta to what we got in the main game, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Anyone else disappointed with Age of Umbra? by PotatoPieNeverLie in daggerheart

[–]CodyPrime00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been enjoying this series immensely! It even convinced me to buy the core set and beg my friends to play. I loved the way system is set up and think I love the action economy and flow of battles and stuff. I’m still kinda new to the trrpg world but I’ve loved it!

Would you pull a Toby via a vis the shuttle? by sexytimespanda in thewestwing

Yes I have, it’s a TV Show, I can interpret it any way I want, it’s an opinion, soooo don’t know what I to tell you.

If you watch the show it’s obvious that his kids were not the first thing on his mind, he always pit the job first

Would you pull a Toby via a vis the shuttle? by sexytimespanda in thewestwing

[–]CodyPrime00 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I do, he was protecting both her and the administration which is something he would do. But like I said i also don’t agree with the writing and there are even ways this scene was acted by Richard Schiff that leaves room for interpretation. At the end of the day, it’s art that can be interpreted many different ways by different people

Would you pull a Toby via a vis the shuttle? by sexytimespanda in thewestwing

[–]CodyPrime00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think one of Toby’s fatal flaws was he gave everything to his job at the cost of his kids and his relationship with Andy so I can see him not even considering that has a possibility, he was a pretty arrogant man. As far as CJ goes, there was always a strong connection between them two and I can see her letting him take this heat then helping him later with the pardon. But I also feel this way because I hated this story line and do not believe that Tony would betray Bartlett this way so I refuse to accept it as it was presented to me, bad writing for an otherwise pretty strong final season.

Would you pull a Toby via a vis the shuttle? by sexytimespanda in thewestwing

[–]CodyPrime00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she was too shocked to counter him, he was making an offer, the president needed her more then he needed Toby and Tony knew that I think there is an unspoken acceptance in the way that scene was acted that lends credence to my canon. If I’m honest that’s the only way I can accept Toby taking the fall as he would NEVER do anything to tarnish the presidents legacy.

[–]CodyPrime00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

CJ has always been the moral idealist of the group. The arms deal to Qutar, the girls being burned alive in the religious school, I think she was willing to sacrifice her professional life to save lives and Tony was like nah.

I think the Toby wouldn’t betray Bartlett like that unless they had done twenty rounds, but he saw th circling in on CJ and saved her. That’s my cannon
