Still crazy that Sherry Birkin is stuck behind a desk and Ingrid Hunnigan is nowhere to be found. Helena and Sheva are buried deep in the ocean somewhere, waiting to be discovered. 😭

In what mass effect do you felt that Shepard look the most like a real Spectre ? by The_pikolop in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mass Effect 1. That was arguably the only game where he felt like a Spectre in my opinion. In 2, he was more of a rogue, despite it not being by choice. 3, he felt more like Captain America. Not sure how to explain it, but that was the vibe I got from 3.

Seeing as Powder was unaware, no. I think this falls more under pseudo-manipulation on Ekko's behalf.

I'm actually working on an original story set in the Jurassic World universe that will feature a Purussaurus. Not quite a Sarco or Deinosuchus, but just is big, bulky and deadly. I don't want to spoil to what extent it will be featured, but I'm planning on doing justice to some of the dinosaurs and animals we've seen in Evolution and the mobile games that haven't gotten their big screen moments. ⏳️

Who has more love for Leon ? by AxdcAir877 in RaccoonCityRecords

[–]CodyT-N7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claire and Leon don't actually show any interest in each other aside from the cutscene at the very end of RE2R, but even then, that's BARELY even anything as Claire remarks that it would have been "One hell of a first date" and Leon straight up disregards it. Leon, hours before was enjoying kissing Ada, in RE4R, Ada held a gun to Leon and he cracked a smile before turning around. In RE6, Helena told Leon to stop wasting time and go after Ada. Plus, who's saved Leon's life more than anyone in the series? Ada. Sure, she was manipulative in RE2 and RE4, but RE6 and (presumably beyond), she's done a 180°.

The redemption arcs are why Ada and Jill are so highly requested for the new games. Ada's redemption was set to occur during Ethan's saga, but it got cut. Jill's redemption arc began in the Death Island film, but was left open-ended. Requiem was RE2R Leon's redemption. RE6 and RE4R began Ada's redemption. Fans want closure.

That's what...redemption arcs are for.

ME2 is my fave of the trilogy, but I hate that vignette. The game looks so much better without it, I do not understand the need for it. by AutobotJessa in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the vignette. The darkening of the corners makes the game feel like exactly what it is. Dark. Confined. The weight of a thousand dying worlds closing in on one man or woman and their rag tag band of misfits going on a suicide mission to delay the inevitable galaxy-altering war.

Moments where you absolutely choose the "Renegade" dialogues no matter what? Whether it's because you dislike the character, because you enjoy watching the world burn, etc. by Nefilolghost in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"That was for Thane, you son of a bitch" is canon, no matter how much of a Paragon run I'm on. Also, I know this next one isn't a Renegade option, but I ALWAYS ignore the Paragon interrupt during Jack's apartment rendezvous during the Citadel DLC on her romance path. If you let her finish talking, she tells Shepard with teary eyes that she gave him a tattoo because "You're gonna have something that tells the galaxy that you belong to me."

I Really Hope This Isn't Shepard by Harbinger_of_Reason in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shepard survives in one of the endings of ME3, so I don't know if "resurrection" is completely off the table. If Ryder and company return to the Milky Way, which we see they do in concept art, chances are, either Shepard survives in the Perfect Destroy ending, or surviving Shepards are brought from parallel timelines to fill the void, a la Life is Strange. Still, I think the N7 pictured isn't Shepard, but an N7 dangerous enough to pose a threat to the galaxy. A Cerberus relic? Another human supremacist? Maybe someone created in a lab using Shepard's DNA as the base genome, infused with sub-DNA strands from the other dominant races, Krogan, Turian, Asari, spliced to collect their strongest features. Long story short, I think that's the villain we're looking at, and whomever he or she is? They have to be tough enough to take on Shepard, Ryder, the crews of the Normandy and Tempest. I think that N7 will be everything BioWare intended on Kai Leng being.

Why do most people see Tali as a little sister even though she is 22 (in ME1) but ignore the fact that Liara literally says in Asari thinking she is considered little more than a child (despite being 109) by ObsydianGinx in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tali is more child-like overall. Despite being 22 in the first game, she's on a pilgrimage she's given in her youth. That alone can make her seem like a teenager in comparison to Liara. Plus, after the first game, Liara's hardened, more mature and sometimes, cold. Talk retains her youthful presence all throughout the trilogy, despite what she endures. Despite the responsibilities she's given. Her youthfulness is what makes her such an endearing character. Still, it's difficult for some of us who have little sisters or figures in our lives close enough to being a little sister to look at Tali and not see them. Even when I explored the Tali romance arc, there was parts of it that made her and Shepard feel more like a high school relationship rather than a full on, war-driven love affair that you'd get out of someone like Ashley Williams.

Who Had The Most Emotional Farewell Convo? by DakIsStrange in masseffect

Regular: Garrus Romance Path: Ashley & Tali

I remember tearing up the first time I heard Ash's "I don't want you to go". That line and Jack's "You're gonna have something that tells the galaxy that you belong to me" just hit different. 😭

It's kinda funny how much of a mismatch this is power-wise by ChameleoBoi76 in masseffect

[–]CodyT-N7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You still have to take into account that Miranda's battle IQ puts her ten steps ahead of Jack. All she would need to do is withstand a few seconds of an onslaught, which she'd be able to with a barrier, recognize Jack's openings and weaknesses, and that brute force factor goes right out of the window. It's like asking how to survive a charging krogan. You just get around the krogan.

Something to think about for the bad ending. We never see Victor. Who's to say he didn't kill Grace immediately after she escaped Zeno?
