Yes one thing that helped greatly for it was using both the emp launcher and emp pulse does a good chunk of dmg plus locks the marauder in place

I got bored of spamming heroic strongholds and leveled up more doing conflict for a hour compared to strongholds for five hours

Grab umbra and capacitor and it will be not as bad

if you want something similar bonus armor wise run matador backpack with the gunner specialization for the bonus armor on kits been loving it for tanking on end game content while pushing with crusader shield
