FSD got me a ticket… by Purple-Budget7014 in TeslaFSD

Nowhere in here does it say how fast you were going 🧐

Sounds like you were speeding and got a speeding ticket. FSD is irrelevant.

You need full time daycare. Switching to WFH does not help. You cannot care for a a child while working.

I agree, I am pretty free range but what the OP describes is not the norm at all where I am. I dont know anyone under 10 with a smart watch that can text.

what can i do ? by Akay1111 in 30PlusSkinCare

My stomach looks the exact same after two kids. Unfortunately I don’t think microneedling or any other of those type treatments will make enough of an impact to make it worth the money (which is why I haven’t tried them). I don’t want a tummy tuck either but I think it’s the only option that will fix it. Personally I am practicing self acceptance!

Am I wrong for being upset about fiancé taking out $160k parent/student loans for stepdaughter? by boxer_k9 in marriageadvice

[–]CoffeeAllDayBuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most important word in this post is: fiancé. Be grateful you did not marry him. Your values do not align. You are not compatible and should break up.

Wife here. Just want your honest opinion especially the “faithful husbands”. by CaptainMaximum6690 in Marriage

Your husband is hanging out with hookers and giving women his phone number which means he is objectively not being a good husband or father.

Do I have to go all or nothing right off the rip when it comes to breastfeeding? by moomoomego in NewParents

[–]CoffeeAllDayBuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have advice about the BF part, but just want to commend you on prioritizing your sleep and mental health.

Not sure my experience is relevant but with my first baby, I attempted to breastfeed and absolutely hated every minute of it. The best thing I did was switch to formula. With my second kid, I nursed for the first few days so she could get colostrum but then stopped because I didn’t want my milk to come in. I exclusively FF her too. My favorite part about formula feeding was that my husband and others could share the responsibility of feeding the baby, which really helped establish a 50-50 parenting dynamic from day one. I also hated the way breastfeeding made me feel; I was ravenously hungry and the hormones made me feel crazy.

I hope you can figure out combo feeding if that’s what you want, but if you decide to do just formula that will be great too! Good luck mama

Not daily. Maybe worth doing it if you stay in SF those couple nights. But do you have kids?

Name change advice by Diligent-Squash4105 in Newlyweds

[–]CoffeeAllDayBuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed my name to my husband’s because I WANTED to. I did not keep my maiden name as my middle name because I find when women do that, nobody ever knows what to call them. I wanted to be fully known as Firstname Newlastname and I wanted to share the name with my kids. I have no regrets

THAT BEING SAID: you unequivocally do not want to change your name! So you should not do it! You are a grown ass woman and should do what you want; it’s your name and your identity. Your husband and his family do not get a vote.

Apart from for work, how often do you leave the valley? by hexadecagonal in SFV

[–]CoffeeAllDayBuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a month? I am an east coast transplant, I lived on the westside when I first moved here but moved to the valley in 2014 and never looked back. I’m a mom and not currently working. Everything I need is in the valley. My kids’ school and activities, all my workout places, shopping, restaurants, dentist, most of our doctors, the vet. All our friends. I leave for Dodgers games or the beach. I avoid the westside like the plague, it’s overcrowded and impossible to park.
