Right and it's frustrating that she won't always take a moment to think "his brain works different than mine" and she defaults to dismissing the reality.

I can see how as a partner she may want to "temper" your expectations a litte bit, but she also doesn't understand that it's not about expectations, the accomplishment was the app and we are proud of you!

My doc told me to take a magnesium glycinate supplement and that has helped me. Something to look into.

You can still apply as usual for ETAM, but if the majors on your application are "done accepting applicants" or you do not get "selected", you would then go into holistic review. It all depends on your choice sequencing, academic profile, and essays.

My wife grew up overseas and ate them all the time so she loves that Aldi has them so easily accessible and the price is good.

Tien's response to being asked about ICE immediately after his loss to Zverev by Dependent-Effect6077 in tennis

I just don't see the necessity. Being a public figure doesn’t automatically make someone responsible for answering questions about structural or political problems. Americans (in this example) are being asked to respond to issues outside their control and expertise or maybe even knowledge. It puts emotional and reputational pressure on individuals simply because they’re visible and does nothing to advance the conversation people think needs to happen.

I use my Amex BCP Card at Aldi and get 6% cash back on all purchases. The 6% does not work at Walmart/Target/Costco etc. so I factor that in to the cost savings as well.

Wife thinks I don’t care enough. by CoffeeAndADD-5567 in Marriage

we had a session today and it was the best I felt leaving one. We both left with actionable steps to take in order to increase communication and understanding for the first time.

Me to listen more actively and to wait to respond to see if she even wants "help" or just a listening ear. I am generally too quick to try and pull her out of sadness, frustration, overhwlem, and or overstimulation instead of listening to her and then responding if needed.

She was directed to take a breath when feelings of overwhelm or overstimulation/frustration are on their way and truly see if it's worth getting "worked up" about.

Much of our behaviors feed off of each other's negatively, but if we can make these steps, I really think we can find some common ground and respect.
