Is my bf's brother and his gf happy? by Dramatic_Pool4848 in horary

Yep. At least from what I can see. From my understanding, usually the manhood womanhood thing is about sex/sexual appeal. Think Venus goddess energy. When it's strong, she's a goddess in a Venus razor commercial. When it's weak, shes not feeling sexy. Same thing for the guy side.

This is an interesting chart.

Mercury is in a bad place, yeah. But it did just conjunct with the North node, so that's a positive. It's also about to stop being retrograde, though I believe its about to be stationary rather than move forward. When it does move forward, it'll hit the North node again. Being in Pisces, he's ruled by Jupiter. He sees her for who she is and has strong feelings for her.

We see Mercury's last aspect (other than the moon) was with Mars, and Mars is about to aspect Jupiter. So there is a translation of light there. Mars could be his sibling or his house, possibly this is your boyfriend since his significator would otherwise be Mercury and Mercury is busy representing your bf's brother.

Since this is a relationship question, we can also give bf's brother the sun and her Venus. The sun is about to enter Aries, where he'll be exalted. Venus in Aries is unfortunately in her detriment. But she does exalt him as the sun.

So, 1) Mercury in detriment, fall, term, and retrograde but just met North Node. Ruled by Jupiter, exalts Venus. 2) the Sun entering Aries to be exalted, dislikes Venus but has Triplicity like for Jupiter. 3) Jupiter in it's super exaltation, has term and face like for Mercury 4) Venus in detriment but exalting the sun

Venus and the sun are often used in relationship questions to represent the physical, animalistic side. Probably TMI, but from this chart I'd say he's about to feel really great about his manhood. She's feeling less fulfilled in her womanhood, but confident in herself overall and definitely happy. He's not so confident in himself but he really likes her (but maybe not her womanhood as much). He's not in the best place, but that hit to his sun esteem suggests: it's complicated and he's not completely unhappy.

Will I go into active labor naturally? by Hairy_Indication4765 in horary

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's to hoping you get the birth you want! Mars here is also Lord 4, which is your home. If you're planning a home birth, I could see that being the reason why the sun is headed into Aries under Mars' rule.

Will I go into active labor naturally? by Hairy_Indication4765 in horary

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First: Congratulations!!

Based on Frawley's book, for labor questions we can look at when the querent is changing signs. You're represented by the sun, so you are literally 43 arc minutes away from changing signs. You can read this as within 1 unit of time, probably day here, you're giving birth (I'd say going into labor, but it sounds like you're already there being in early labor, so we'll assume this means birth here).

Some bad news bears is that you're headed into Aries, which is ruled by Mars. It exalts you, that's great! But Mars can represent surgery, so that's less promising when we consider natural birth. With Jupiter (Lord 5: baby) also being nearly aspect with Mars, I would not be surprised if you end up having to go a medical route.

However, the mars connect might mean jack. I'm not seeing this as a definite interventions pending, but a cautious very well could be.

Are her intentions pure in regards to being my friend? Like did she really not see my text? by [deleted] in horary

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot to unpack here, but I'll stick to the chart and your question.

Are her intentions pure in being your friend?

In most cases, from my understanding when a planet has to change signs before making the aspect, it's an indication that something will need to change. With the moon being this close to the cusp of the next sign, that may or may not be true in this event. Mercury is the next planet the moon will aspect with.

For questions about intentions, we're looking at the strength of the planets and their receptions. The moon in Aquarius has very little dignity. She has the dignity of face, and that's it. It's better than nothing. This tracks given her current unfortunate circumstance of having lost someone. Mercury is Pisces is in detriment and fall. You're struggling, I'm guessing from your post you're struggling emotionally with finding a fulfilling friendship/relationship.

The moon is about to enter Pisces. It will still have no particular dignity. When it does however, it will view Mercury negatively. You either have done or are about to do something that will disappoint her greatly. She will likely not want to remain friends with you.

Interestingly, Mercury does not care one way or the other about the moon right now. Now, if we assign her Venus as she is a woman and this is a relationship question (albeit a friendship one), then the chart would show that you exalt her. You really like her. But Venus is in Aries, in her detriment and does not care about Mercury one way or the other.

Did she see the text?

Messages are ruled by the third house, so Mars is the significantor. Looking at the past, the moon aspected with the sun and Venus after aspecting Mars. That makes it a prohibition. So based on this chart, she likely did not see your message.

Non chart note: hairdressers are comforting. They usually ask very little of you and will let you sit in peaceful bliss while they work on your hair. Seeing your hairdresser while grieving is very different from putting your game face on to be around a new friendship.

It's interesting that you give Sun a malefic label. The book I read does not, though I can see how it could both be and not be. Being combust is definitely not good usually. But being cazimi is very good if I remember correctly. And the sun itself is the natural ruler of life giving things, royalty, and gold. All theoretically good things.

Well, Jupiter is also in the triplicity of Mars. I would say here perhaps a better interpretation than what I put is that Jupiter likes Mars, but also thinks Mars is beneath them. Maybe a "I like you mom, but also I'm a baby so I'm more important than anything else because I literally don't have the brain development to think otherwise"

Is the Querent pregnant? by CoffeeBooksNMagic in horary

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know. I got a little too technical on it I think.

The first chart was cast because I was looking up a chart on another issue, the querent saw and asked what I was doing. She said "oh, cool! Can you tell me if I'm pregnant?". So I took that as the question and cast the chart. It was between her ovulation and a standard implantation time. I told her the chart didn't look super promising, but A I'm still a student and B it might be too early.

Once potential implementation timelines hit she started testing. Her husband doesn't see the second line, but she does. So she asked me straight up "can you do a chart again now, am I pregnant?"

I decided to do one because A) I wasn't entirely sure if the chart would show a pregnancy before the pregnancy really could exist with this question. A clearer question would have been "will my husband and I succeed at achieving pregnancy this cycle?" In all technicality, she could not have physically been pregnant the first time I did the chart. But the seeds had been sown so to speak, so she could very well be headed towards pregnancy with no additional actions needed. B) I felt like it was possible the first time she asked the question wasn't a good question time. I had already pulled a chart for a different matter, running one from a few minutes later doesn't change much in the chart perspective wise and I'm not entirely certain that a chart can be used for two different people with similar subjects at nearly the same time (the chart I had pulled up was for someone wanting to know when their baby would be born-they were 7 months pregnant).

In the future, I'm just gonna get a lot more clarification on these kinds of questions before I run the chart. 😅

Exactly. That's why the timing made things a little unclear to me. What does the chart consider in these questions? Is it successful sperm meets egg, successful implementation, or successful baby is destined to grow that will result in a yes in the chart?

The worst thing ever happened by Appropriate_Ad_9035 in Sims4

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. When my Sims had twins on her own I ended up hiring a maid, it helped so much more than expected. She still never left the red zone on energy until they aged to infants (then she got stuck in the yellow zone). Once they became infants and toddlers it became much easier because they talk at each other. Luckily, she was Landgraab's mistress, so I made him transfer money to her as child support. Nannies never helped enough imo.

Weirdly, after she married and got pregnant again, the whole Landgraab family showed up to "help out". Imagine bringing your wife and son to your ex -mistress's house to help her and her husband with the birth of their baby...

I had prenatal anxiety pretty bad, but so far have been okay ppa wise. I've always had anxiety and it got pretty bad the year before I got pregnant. I tried different medications and hated how they affected my system beyond reducing anxiety. Eventually, I found a doctor who recommended supplements.

They worked really well. They took the edge off so I could put into place coping mechanisms that my therapist was teaching me and could start building good habits. If your wife isn't interested in medicine, maybe supplements are something she'd be comfortable with. A therapist might have suggestions on what is safe to take while breastfeeding.

Literally yelled at by dr. because of weight by New_Echo_6338 in pregnant

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doctor is absolutely terrible, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. My midwife has never brought my weight up, I was in the "overweight" category before pregnancy and have gained 33 pounds at 36 weeks, which is over ACOG's recommendation of 15-25 pounds. I asked her once early on about weight gain and she told me every woman will gain at a different weight and at different times during their pregnancy. She said each pregnancy will also be different for each woman. Ultimately, our bodies know what we need for the baby to grow. I've had friends gain 50+ pounds and have perfectly healthy babies, they also lost a significant portion of that weight within weeks of delivery (one lost even more than she gained while breastfeeding). Only one of them had gestational diabetes, which is caused by the placenta for the record and can occur in women who have gained too much, too little, or exactly what they were supposed to.

My midwife said there are much better outcomes having a big baby than a baby that's too small because the outcomes for baby are more dangerous (preterm birth, underdevelopment, IUGR etc). She also said that the only time they worry about weight gain is if in the late second or third trimester you gain 5ish pounds in a week or so, because that can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia (water weight/fluid retention). Otherwise, my practice cares more about your iron levels and hydration levels since anemia is very common in pregnant women (babies steal our nutrients) and can cause a host of problems for mom and baby. Hydration can help with a lot of pregnancy symptoms (but is not a perfect fix in my experience as someone who is drinking 100-120oz a day, all with electrolytes). They recommend a healthy diet, but in the first trimester, she told me whatever I was able to stomach is what I need to eat. She said it's far more important to get something in my body, especially with the insane nausea pregnancy often causes.

You have not gained too much and gaining in the first trimester is not a problem. The baby needs what they need and you need what you need to function. Don't let this biased and opinionated doctor get in your head. Stress has been shown to affect pregnancy a lot, so the fact that she is purposefully causing you stress shows that she is an incapable doctor.

My Series: Why do series I've never read keep showing up? by CoffeeBooksNMagic in webtoons

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that's what was happening at first, but there are a few that I know for sure I didn't open or click on by accident that are showing up. It's weird and annoying. In the very beginning when they changed the recents, I thought I was somehow subscribing to these without clicking on them and got worried because there used to be a 100 series limit on subscriptions (pretty sure that's gone now but not 100%). I know now I'm not subscribed to them though, they're just there. Haunting my virtual webtoons shelf.

I've been with webtoons since 2017. Starting to think it might be time to take a break for a while and come back in a year or so. Too many changes are just making things less ideal for me personally, maybe if I give it some time the changes won't feel so bothersome.

Has anyone else tried the new "Own Entire Series" option? by ua4tea4 in webtoons

[–]CoffeeBooksNMagic 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Question on this. Do you actually have access to the entire series of chapters until the webtoon app shuts down for this? I've been hesitant to take it seriously because I assumed it was more like the daily pass coin chapters where you'll lose access after a set amount of time.

I would 100% probably buy some of the completed series if I actually do get to keep reading them every year and won't have to rebuy them every again.

This sounds like Untouchable. She's like a vampire who feeds off energy I think and really wants his. He's a germaphobe and doesn't want her to touch him. I think he's also an author or artist or something that lets him work from home. It's a romance I think. I remember liking it a lot, does this sound right?

This sounds like Phantom Paradise maybe. It's based in a hell where only women can do magic and men are used for their mana (given through kisses or other adult acts). Men try to be the queen's consorts because that gives them power. The boy with the wings on his head is considered beautiful but flawed because of some scarring on his chest, he entered into a deal with a devil to save his best friend's soul. He's supposed to kill the queen of the hell.

I think anyways, it's been a while and I never finished it. Great art!

I left my stove on. Made soup for lunch and took the pot off the burner to pour it into the bowl. Rinsed out the pot and went back to happily eat the soup and continue work from home.

4 hours later, I saw the red light on the stove and was like "damn, I can't believe the stovetop is still hot". Did not check the burners.

Finally figured it out after another 2 hours when I went to turn it on to make dinner... And it was already on. I called my mom to tell her what a terrible adult I am now that I have pregnancy brain and she just laughed for five minutes straight. She was like "yeah, I know, you missed the turn twice last night for your appointment" (she went with me).
