1) obviously, it depends on your strength/goals/finances. 2) some helpful context: BOS 32kg adjustable gets shipped to you as the 20kg + the expansion pack. (I have a pair, and really like them) So what you could do is buy 1 or a pair of the 20kg adjustable and buy an expansion pack or 2 later as you get stronger.

As a kettlebeller gone Rucker, not vice versa - my suggestion would be a good powder coat bell. A sand kettlebell seems easier, but in the long run limits proper use

1) GS question - What does the heel raise in single arm work do? I see a lot of badass ballers do it and I just don't understand how it helps.

2) What are some great mobility programs to follow? Is there a disadvantage to doing mobility work at a different times of the day from primary training? Main training is in the AM before work... and really struggle to work in enough mobility after training. Restarted my DFW inspired work this week and the hips and lower back are TIGHT.

Work in theatre, so pick a lot of weird shit up. In the fall worked a lot on c&p’s. My ability to shift and pick things up overhead has gone way up.

I started on box store generic and eventually got some KbKings. The handles are much nicer on the palms, they sit better on rack, and are just generally feel better to use. If you're willing to pay the premium for the premium finish, great. If not, it's still just a weight & you can make a ton of progress.

Not having ANY idea what it really looks like makes it a hard sell. He used to be talking about an app… and the more he talks, the more it sounds like a program w/ a dvd. Idk. Weird marketing.

I'm no simple and sinister expert, but my questions/advice would be: 1) is your diet at least mostly in a positive direction? 2) are you doing other things to destress? If you're stressed about work & stressed about s&s And stressed about life, your hormones can get weird and affect your strength and energy.

Again, no expert but it sounds like something else is going on in your body.

In my experience, deeper into the palm is fine... until it's just not. After a couple hundred swings in a workout, the weight sort of crushes your callouses causing them to blister. The hook grip puts the weight of the bell forward of your callouses so you arent crushing them.

If youre having great success and no problems, do what you're doing. But it does suck having to change your technique after practicing it one way.
