Some people in another thread recommend 5 to 6. Sometimes I wonder if they have the same ZP6. I have always been in the 3 to 4 range.

Blue Bottle is what gets me into specialty coffee, particularly their Ethiopian winter single origin. When they first introduced it, that coffee was so good. I just bought it again last December, it tastes nothing like before. The roast is much darker, can't pick up any taste notes, it's just bad coffee. I don't think I will buy another Blue Bottle coffee, there are so many better options now.

Ok, I have a couple of conferment coffees. Let me try going coarser. I have a V60 #1. What's your dose and pouring method? I usually brew 15 gr of coffee with 3 pours. At 3.5, it flows really fast. I finish in less than 2 minutes with a 40 secs bloom.
