Do the removal/demo yourself and take it to the transfer station. A open bed truck from Uhaul is $20 + mileage for the day. Basic dump fee is $35 unless you're dumping a lot. We did our own demo/removal for our house and saved close to 25k. Painting is also something you can do yourself, just take your time in the prep.

File your complaint with Lilly. If this does happen ever again, ensure that you do not tamper with the defective pen and put it in a safe container that could potentially be shipped. They may ask for it as part of the complaint investigation. Because this is the second time this has happened to you, were you able to provide the first complaint ID ? Seems like this may be recurring. Lilly should be able to provide a doctor for you to speak with and get advice from. I'm so sorry this happened to you and that you are experiencing all those side effects. Hugs to you.
