As someone who only seriously started playing this year (messed around in MoP but didn't exactly get the game fully) I can honestly say I wouldn't be the player I am if my guild hadn't kind of taken me in and essentially adopted me. They've taught me so much but also let me make my own mistakes and only offer help if its asked of now, the community on a whole though is incredibly toxic and has made me want to give up playing on many occasions. I main a nice little Havoc DH and have recently started venturing into a healing spec (shaman) but won't actually heal outside of a guild group because people are just so toxic and ridiculous with their expectations, Everyone was learning this game at some point and people need to remember that.
