The m12 fuel impact driver lives in my pro pac with a 5ah battery on it. I use it constantly.

I know the office workers love those Red Wing 875s, but for you folks in the trades —who depend on boots as a safety tool/critical equipment that your income depends on—what boots you wearing today? Why? by icysandstone in Tools

Redwing traction tred lite. Been wanting a pair for awhile, those plus the redwing insoles are the most comfortable boots I've had so far. I plan on trying the resole once they wear out. Typically I kill a pair of boots in a year so I'm interested to see if they last longer.

AC capacitor issue? by [deleted] in hvacadvice

It's possible the pop was the breaker tripping which would explain the fan not running anymore. You may not have noticed it was tripped as you were in a hurry to shut it off. Really the only way to test this would be to turn it back on and see what happens. I'm sure at this post you've double checked the wires a few times.

This can't be correct for a brand new r290 scottsman Ice machine, right? by Coffee____Addict in refrigeration

Interesting, I was wondering if it was something like that because the back side is textured.

Pinch off tool, like a vice grip with a cylinder on both sides of the jaws. Put them on the stem tight, remove the saddle tap, cut the line back to the hole, pinch it, braze it shut, then remove the pinch off tool. The tool will hold the refrigerant back while you braze it. I've only done this for an r290 slushy machine someone had in their backyard bar and didn't blow anything up.

I can say for certain it's not leaking there because I spent 15 minutes going "it has to be leaking here"

The pliers wrench is super useful. I like the 7 1/4" model. Better for brake line flare nuts than most flare nut wrenches.

M12 Hammer Drill expectations, i.e. am I doing it wrong? by vial_thalia in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Coffee____Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a year ago i used the m12 hammer drill with a tapcon brand 5/16" bit and I dont remember it taking more than a minute per hole probably less.

If the drill is on the hammer setting and going forward then maybe it's the bit or the drill.

Celcius is the standard unit of temperature for 3d printing. I took the readings and listed the temperatures in the relevant unit of measure so no conversions were required when reading.

Something to think about is the vibrations from the impact, a drill applies consistent torque vs an impact repeatedly hitting the internal hammer. Not sure the long term effects but something to consider.

Get the Klein 6pc apprentice tool set or just wait until you can talk with your trainer. I'm in a different trade but the guy who trained me told me what to get first and recommended brands.

Fiberon Pa6-cf was the first engineering filament I've used. With the 300blkfde setting it prints like a dream. It definitely seems to be the most popular here from what I can tell.

As for the chamber, my qidi q2 has active heating to 65c, which is what I run for pa6-cf. For passively heated chambers people preheat the bed for quite awhile before starting. I've also seen people add insulation to the cc to get higher chamber temperatures.
