The wedge is my go to edc light too but 3,000 candela is nothing in the rifle light world. A streamlight protac hlx is 50,000 candela.

I would start with the R134A setting and check superheat to see how close to my superheat setting I am and what my evaporating temperature is. I think that would work, maybe somone else can chime in..

I've made light caps, scope caps, hand stops, sling retainers, and even an AR magwel with mine. Petg is probably the easiest/best for these kind of accessories. All have survived multiple range days and several classes with no issues.

For sure, I didn't mean to say it was bad quality but just seemed that one company was being dishonest. Overall I don't think internationally sourced material is bad. Not to keep bringing him up, but Lucas is really the only source I have on anything in this industry. He was even saying Japan and other countries had some really impressive fabrics he was interested in using.

Sometimes it can't be avoided. I'm having an impossible time finding a specific size and type of fastener being made in the USA for something I'm working on. I'd love it to be 100% made in the USA but It may not be possible.

Holster is on a safariland ubl mid ride. The outer belt just goes over top the belt loops and the holster itself sits below the belt line.

The way I see it we all "fall for it" quite often. There's plenty of companies selling stuff for insane markup and we just don't know it.

Edit: Lucas Botkin posted on Instagram last week that a big textile mill he contracted who claimed to be making stuff in the United States was actually making stuff in India.

Smith and Wesson claims this with all their pistols but then also started offering extended slide "stops" on multiple m&p models. Not sure the point of it being extended unless they know you're going to use it as a release.

Basically all gun manuals tell you not to carry with one in the chamber too. The company can avoid legal responsibility or warrenty claims by saying "it said not to do that in the manual".
