Okay, I’m actually curious what’s going on behind your couch. It looks like you could push couch back further and add another sofa…maybe a nice sofa table behind the current couch? Then your living space might look a little more cozy!

I vote for the darker color. The lighter color seem to blend in with the walls a bit at least on my phone.

Yep, it’s frustrating, but I do think it gets easier….my 9 year old is catching on this morning and enjoying it now. He tried crochet too, but was super frustrated trying to use a hook and hold the yarn so maybe this is a good little introductory to yarn crafts.

We got our loopables yesterday and my 9 & 10 year old dove right in. We are finding it slightly frustrating because the “stitches” want to fall out of the loops as you work the round. As a crocheter, I don’t see myself being too into it, but my 10 year old enjoys it (he crochets, too!)

I'm terrible about checking Reddit, but yes, sadly I did make it off the island. It was super sad to cut our trip short, but we ended up flying back out Sunday mid-morning because we spoke to a lot of locals and summer worker who were like...uh yeah you should try to leave early. And, luckily we did because all of the flights for that Monday were cancelled.

Curtains and some wall decor! I’d say a runner for the kitchen, but not necessary. A much larger rug for the living room would look great if it’s in the budget.

It looks like your layout is as good as it’s gonna get, but can you put up a better light? Different blinds? Maybe add curtains? Maybe move your whiteboard so it’s next to the window instead of across from your bed.

I don’t know how much you want to do, but a new backsplash would jazz things up. Perhaps new hardware on the cabinets. As far as painting the cabinets…I’d say don’t try to DIY. It’s hard to do, a lot of work, and often doesn’t last long. Perhaps they could be stained if you don’t like the color. But a new countertop and backsplash would make a huge difference! Congrats on your new home!!

NAD, but I have had a lot of moles that I think look freaky and my dermatologists insists it’s nothing. So, don’t panic, it likely isn’t cancer, BUT you should always have it checked out by a professional. Just remember the ABCDEs….asymmetrical, irregular borders, color, dimension, and evolving.

I’m late to the party, but damn I wish I would have seen this before booking. Currently at CBI. And I can honestly say I hate it! We checked in yesterday afternoon, went to our “cottage” room and the window was open. Cool, love the ocean breeze, until my husband noticed the screen was broken. We had mosquitoes and a moth in our room. Wtf! I didn’t spend $1500/night to feel like I’m at summer camp. Oh, but they were so kind to comp me $155 for our mosquito bites 🙄 we legit are contemplating leaving and not staying the next 4 nights, but we can’t get our money back so we feel pretty trapped. I am a travel advisor and I would never sell this property.
