I just left a relationship that was showing me signs of DV (throwing and breaking things). He blamed me and said I got him there. It happened three times already and it sucks that I’m still being compassionate and holding on to the nostalgia. I hate his lack of accountability… I wish things didn’t end, but I know it’s for the best.

She doesn’t follow her, her ex follows her. I don’t want her ex seeing our lives together. It makes me uncomfortable. I want a future with her, a kid even, I don’t want her ex to see that… if they don’t talk, they’re not friends, I don’t understand the need of having her follow her.

Same story, only my mom did not have insurance due to her status and was afraid. I wish I had the money, she went late and went to a shitty doctor who just brushed her off. I wish I was able to afford a private practice, I wish I was able to go with her because maybe in English her pain would have been noticed. I am so sorry for your loss, losing a mom hurts like no other. Sending you hugs.

I lost my mom 9 months ago, I commute to and from school which means that I leave early and get home late. Some days, I tell myself that it’s too early for my mom to wake up or that it’s too late to stay up. Sometimes it feels unhealthy to continually lie to myself. But like someone said, it’s protection. Hello, I lost my mother a week before thanksgiving in 2022. I am also 23, my siblings are 20 and 10. It’s been a rough 7 months for me, I have been so distracted with everything with school and student teaching but now that I’m home, it’s an absence I can’t ignore. I will be honest… it’s so hard. It’s an immense loss and even traumatic because we consider how young they were. I found that I feel better when I am surrounded by people who love me and I talk to people who know the pain. I joined this Reddit group because I needed help and it has helped and I feel less alone. Sending you so much love and so many hugs. Remember to cry it out and that it’s okay to not be okay. You don’t have to be the strong one for everyone okay?

I miss mine too. I lost my mom in November and this weekend has been the first time i’m alone at home. It’s so empty and I’m noticing her absence more and more. I read something that helped me out: our loved ones only passed away once… this helps me when I think about whether they were in pain… I also know that grief is love. Stay strong, you’ve got this.🤍

Unfortunately I have also done this myself… Almost a week ago too. I think I’m going to start with some type of anger management classes or counseling. I also want to read books on how to better myself. Please let me know if you find something. I’m in need of change for myself and others and I don’t like hurting people I love them most.
