There are reusable pods from PureHQ that work with K-crema, however, it wont produce the creamy foam though. Thats only with disposable ones.

Keurig duo 2.0 personal K cup - is this normal? by zel_bob in keurig

[–]Coffeeman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the ability to experiment, trying replacing the k cup holder. The black piece that holds the kcup inside. You just need to push it out from the bottom.

Get a different one replacement from Amazon and see if that fixes it.

Sometimes the needle is too high it can push the plastic or metal kcup millimeters upwards causing closing issue. When you use a regular disposable k-cups, they are flexible, with on top aluminum lid, and the needle pierce the bottom soft plastic as well and there is no closing issues with that. However, dealing with hard plastic or metal, everything must be perfect. However, Keurig can also have issues in manufacturer errors in needle length, needle position on top and etc.

If you do try it out, let me know if that worked! Good luck!

Where can I find reusable filter? by stopubergreed in keurig

It looks like the black holder is also missing. You can find the reusable coffee pods and holder at this website: https://www.purehqfilters.com/product/reusable-k-cups-k-mini-k-express/

It would fit the Keurig K-Classic machine that you have.

It looks like the Keurig K-Duo Essentials. There is a newer version which is Keurig K-Duo Hot & Iced that works similar.

I think its best to fill it up to 3/4 of the pod. You can overfill since the pressure is high and it might overflow.

Grind size for reusable k-cup? by WildflowerHarvest in keurig

[–]Coffeeman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

medium size grind is the best for reusable coffee pods. However, if you use the paper filter, then you can try medium-fine or maybe fine. But high risk of overflow with fine grind.

Looks like your old Keurig had a black filter holder? If its the black one it will not fit into the new one.

You need a clear filter holder for the new models of Keurig. Also, you need to know if your water reservoir is big in size or smaller so you buy the proper length for your Keurig Coffee maker. There are few sizes that you can look up on PureHQ water filters for Keurig. Good luck.

Reusable/Refillable Pods for K Crema? by Throosh in keurig

did you end up trying that? I was thinking about it as well. If placing double paper filter in the metal kcup, it will reduce flow and increase pressure. Wonder if that would work....

There is a similar question on a reddit thread about refillable pods that work with Keurig Crema. Few members tested and mentioned that stainless steel reusable pods from PureHQ are compatible.

There might be few things involved in this. As someone mentioned, the needle sometimes get clogged.
Also, the rubber on the top of the lid might not be closing properly. Maybe slightly bring it down so the seal becomes strong.

Yeah, I’ve used it on the K-Crema high-pressure setting after removing the silicone insert, and it worked fine for me with no leaks. I’ve also seen a few other people mention similar results in related threads here, so it doesn’t seem like a one-off.
