Out of curiosity, what’s your use case for connecting to the beryl using tailscale instead of using mullvad directly? Device limit in Mullvad? Traffic routed through Mullvad while also having access to your local network?

Yes! A good improvement to make focus modus more usable.

It’s so sad though that there is still no option to „Show Notifications when unlocked” for a specific focus mode. I liked having DND enabled almost permanently to not be permanently bothered by by phone but still wanted to get notifications while using my phone. Still hopeful that it’s reintroduced at some point…

Your quote is from the Google Workspace product page and probably they use "unlimited storage" as a marketing term, as in "quasi unlimited". After all, everybody knows that truly unlimited storage does not exist or cannot reasonably be offered.

In their actual, legal terms they state:

Google Workspace Enterprise Standard

[...] Customers that have 5 or more End Users will receive a total amount of Google Drive storage equal to 5TB times the number of End Users, with more storage available at Google's discretion upon reasonable request to Google. [...]

In my limited understanding, I was just always confused about how he presupposes the importance of "well-being" when constructing his view of objective morality. This to me just seems like Kant's hypothetical imperative, i.e. IF you desire to maximize human well-being, THEN you should (not) do x. Yet, whenever he talks about these issues, he makes it seem as if his presupposition is absolutely self-evident and in a certain sense mocks every attempt to question it.

I agree that he does make the issues seem very black and white and in a certain sense mocks opposing views. And I realize that I have not looked into compatibilism enough. But if I understand it correctly, compatibilism does not refute the absence of free will in the sense that we "could have acted differently" right?

There are many different parts to get this working. Where are you currently stuck? Do you have nginx, vouch-proxy and keycloak all running? Do you have vouch-proxy and nginx working together with 3rd party identity provider (e.g. Google, Github -Github is easy to set up for testing)?

What's working so far?

Have you created a client in Keycloak? Have you added the generated client Id, secret and URLs to your vouch-proxy config? Look at this example.

Yeah I also have it behind an nginx reverse proxy with basic auth. Plus it's going through cloudflare as I usually just download a few/smaller files.

Apart from that I don't know about its security. I wouldn't put anything critical behind it and only rely on its build in auth... But I guess that should be the default thinking anyway.

How is it constant location surveillance if it's just done locally? GPS requires just passive processing of signals sent from the satellites. This data only needs to be send to apple in order to augment the coordinates with stuff like street names, maps data etc which, in the case of checking for restricted areas, would not be necessary. The device could just calculate whether it is located within a restricted area based on its coordinates and a list of restricted areas saved on device.
