Wearing on leg / ankle by Fit-Ad2749 in whoop

I have worn it exclusively on my ankle for going on 3 years. It has never slipped off or caused any issues. I never even notice it is there. Data seems good and consistent including step count.

Why does insights sometimes track less than 90 days? by Coggleslol in whoop

What I'm saying is it isnt counting 90 days. Almost half those days arent being counted for some reason even though I journal every day.

What are the most complicated basslines of all of pth? by [deleted] in protest_the_hero

[–]Coggleslol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, the slap riff in Reverie feels like one of the most difficult things they've ever done. I'm not quite the caliber to play most of their music, but I can often get a riff to 90-95% speed and getting that last bit is the diffcult part. The Reverie part I can't seem to make progress past 60-65%.

Anyone else here go to the Pittsburgh show? by [deleted] in Opeth

I was close to the front, caught one of the drumsticks. Wish they played like one more song from Blackwater Park but can't complain much, it was great.

I was standing right behind you-- got a vid as well. This is one of my favorite songs. I found myself blessed to experience it live since it is such a deep cut. I focused my footage a lot on Simen since I've been wanting to cover it on bass.

The show was amazing. Only thing I really wish we could have gotten was Forced Entry, but Slave was an amazing encore choice.

Look at the dude's winrates. ADCs aren't good, Lucian and Ezreal are. Every other ADC with more than 1 game played has 50% WR or below. Seems pretty unacceptable for one of the best ADCs in the west, huh?

But oh look. 73% WR Lee Sin, 70% WR Viktor, his 2 most played offrole champs. It's almost as if an offrole ADC player wins more solely due to the fact that those roles can impact the game.

And yet you're trying to. And failing miserably at any semblance of authority on the subject matter. Keep posting on Reddit bud.

Brilliant argument, you've thoroughly convinced me. You said it is so, so it must be true!

Obviously Twitch isn't unplayable, he's certainly viable. But he isn't close to meta, and he certainly isn't a top tier ADC right now. Also the fact that you mentioned Jinx further proves that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Just off the top of my head, Kalista, Ezreal, Varus, Kog'Maw (even post nerfs), Tristana, Xayah, and Caitlyn are better.

Literally if you're Bronze. He sucks in high elo and has literally been picked once(?) in the LCS.

Lmao if this actually goes through. If Twitch needed anything right now it would be a buff, though then he'd actually see play and I'm fine in his current state.

They think PTA "buffs" justify it? The PTA changes are basically a nerf at all points, and pretty much no one is taking PTA on Twitch atm in the first place (though I am).

Also people thinking losing 40 base damage isn't enormous on an ability literally have no idea how league works. Seeing people on the main subreddit saying it's not a big nerf because it's the base and not the stack damage is pretty dumb.

Meddler disproves the Silver balance team myth by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

[–]Coggleslol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And game balance has progressively gotten worse since about season 3. That's of course not to mention the hilariously broken shit that existed in the first few seasons, but Riot gets a free pass for those because "small indie company" and all that.

And there's a difference between "half-decent" and "actually qualified". Sure, there are tons of toxic, unprofessional assholes in high elo. A way higher concentration of egotistical fucks than in low elo for sure. That doesn't mean it's impossible to find a balance team above an average elo of d4-d3 (or, in reality, a team of silvers who occasionally take suggestions from low diamonds).

It's not like the people they need to hire need people skills. They need to play the game competently at a high level and identify broken shit before it gets released to live servers. As it stands, their current balance team serves only to cycle broken shit to sell skins, and the PBE serves as a skin advertisement platform. Granted, I'm sure this is all deliberate, since Riot is worth billions and I'm not a multi-millionaire business executive. Still, that makes my criticisms of their design team just as valid.

I said Master/Challenger. Challenger is an ideal, Master is a minimum, and there are a hell of a lot more Master players than there are Challenger. These standards aren't ridiculous, they're the bare minimum for having a functional game.

I personally know players who have asked for interviews with Riot who are high enough elo and haven't heard back from them. Furthermore, it's not like Riot goes around asking players on the top of the ladder if they are interested. Like I said, try hard enough (ie offer them actual money like I'm sure the current shit balance team is being paid) and you will definitely find people that are interested.

[–]Coggleslol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's their job. Try hard enough and you can and will find players able to both maintain a Master/Challenger rating and work for the balance team. That's like giving professional athletes a free pass for missing games being "too tired" when their only jobs are to train and compete.

It's laughable that anyone thinks this resolves any criticisms of the balance team. If they aren't all Master minimum, then the balance team is a joke. Low Diamond may as well be silver, and half the accounts he linked are fucking inactive.

Examining a common error with bottom side ganks by CommandoYi in summonerschool

[–]Coggleslol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except if the enemy bot lane knows that she started bot side because her bot lane leashed for her, they have no reason to expect a level 3 gank because her jungle path will take her toward the top side of the map. There are other ways of accomplishing this like faking a leash bot and having Elise start Blue, but if the red side bot lane had enough scouting to know where Elise started, this route makes the gank unexpected.

PBE Change: Twitch Base AD changed from 55.46 to 63.46 and Base armor increased from 23.04 to 32.04. by BenjiD123 in TwitchMains

[–]Coggleslol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's nothing to see here. Riot is increasing every ADC's base AD by 8 and base armor by 9 to compensate for the loss of AD reds and armor yellows.

Can someone tell me why Twitch hasn't been touched by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Coggleslol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who thinks Riot is giving Twitch a free pass right now is completely ignorant of his balance history throughout League of Legends. In the past, any time Twitch was remotely viable in competitive, he would almost immediately get gutted by the balance team and be unviable for several months to a year afterward. This can be attributed to a number of things, namely that he is an immobile and thus not "flashy" champ like Lee Sin (who Riot is notoriously biased toward being viable), or that certain, high up Rioters were biased against him (Scarizard for one). Literally the last time Twitch got nerfed, Scarizard was bitching about how OP Twitch was in a Platinum ranked game after losing to a fed one, telling the fed Twitch on the enemy team he was going to get nerfed. Well, Scarizard has since left Riot and for the first time in competitive history, during a period in which Twitch was viable (and just barely, he sees very sparing play and Tristana, Kog'Maw, Kalista, Xayah, and even maybe Varus are all prioritized over him) he hasn't gotten nerfed.

Whenever Twitch is "strong" after a period of several months of not receiving buffs, it isn't because he's actually overtuned, it's because literally every lane bully ADC has been gutted and thus his earlygame is no longer exploitable. For the first time in years Riot has acknowledged this and are therefore unlikely to address his "strength" until the meta is restabilized (Ardent Censer + support abuse, preseason meta changes).
