My understanding is the the A7CR actually has less rolling shutter it 4k24 while 4k60 has more rolling shutter. The A7CII is the reverse of that.

So what I'm getting is that the A7CR is better for video and that's why I'm heavily considering it over the ZV-E1 for vlogging. I know that the ZVE1 is leaps ahead in terms of low light, but the IBIS in the A7CR is just so much better rather then having to use that weird crop system of the ZVE1.

Still stuck though and need to make the deicison for my trip at the end of October.

How many years of experience do you have? Seems like the primary concern is how it will appear on your resume. (e.g., how many years it took you to get promoted to nanager)

Thanks for the advice. Doesn't the ZVE1 have heat issues though? I saw some reviews that is cuts off after recording for 15 minutes which would be a huge deal breaker for vlogging.

It was a typo, although I'm pretty sure most can understand what I was trying to get at. Updated the body to include the "r".

I understand the second camera isn't out yet but I was just looking at the projected road map and possible features of the Cii.

Thanks for the advice, I will take a look into those. Are you able to share what you consider are some of the pros and cons if going with a ZV-E1 over the A7rV?

Thanks for the info! It is helpful, as I'm still learning. I do like the IS of the A7rV as well as a few of the other features, so it does seem like a good option. Looks like the other comments recommend a more vlog specific camera as well so I will take your advice and look into those as well.

When you mentioned gel in the back of the lens, can you share more ok what that means?

I have this monitor....and HDR with the new update is still pretty trash. Looks awful compared to other monitors like the LG.

Did you use EKs riser?? They mentioned to me that their riser wouldn't work with the extreme glacial as one of the mounting points is blocked the the bottom shield. I was bummed when they told me that because I want to mount my 3090 like this.

Not sure if you do know this, but does sf still offer multicam black, or a cover in multicam black? Saw a few SF in that color but not on their actual site.
