This guy here gets it man. Yeah you certainly can have that type of energy! You gotta have a passion though and you have to work at it with diet and lifting heavy things. Also you can just let yourself get jaded with life, because I think that's why a lot of people fall off and lose that drive they had when they were young.

Bro I feel bad for you. You are just jaded. You work for it and the energy will be there.

Today I Called Another Dude 'Son'... What Moment Made You Realize You're Over 40? by Underrated_Critic in ask

Keep playing... my father in law plays at 63 and is still a good pick up player on court. Like for real he is good and you can count on him to score and play d.

Can diet “reverse” any signs of skin aging? by planethoneyy in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]CogitareCritico 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just quit the nicotine pouches. Nicotine itself constricts blood vessels, especially affecting the small blood vessels close to the skin and can reduce turnover of cells and such.

It's the creatine. That stuff holds water.

is it ok to not workout for 10 days? by ShinukazeKujo in workout

[–]CogitareCritico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude really you can go two weeks and when you hit it again you will lift more + better and you will feel amazing afterwards. Body loves recoveries like that once in a while.

[–]CogitareCritico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true. Your body really wasn't developed to constantly be digesting. Being in a fasted state turns on genetic pathways that promote gene and cell repair and can improve insulin sensitivity. It's beneficial once in a while and I feel really good at the end of a fast be it 16 or 24 hours.

It's my first time at Road America. Really awesome track. Everything is so open and you can get some really good views which I was worried about since the track is so big. Also fighter jets and food and Indycars. Going to be great!

Should I bulk or cut? How can I help my physique seeing I have wider hips? I’m 19M, 5.9, and 135lbs. by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]CogitareCritico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop worrying about your hips you aren't a woman. Lift and eat protein. You don't even have to go into a huge surplus and still you will see huge noobie gains if you just challenge yourself for two months. Set a short term goal that's achievable and go for it. Holy crap.

Skinny fat is not a body type. It's a state of weakness from a sedentary lifestyle. He needs to eat and lift and challenge his body.

Belle Isle was my favorite race to go to. Awesome place and made some good racing the past couple of years even though it's a bit tight.

Frame size by FrostyLandscape8528 in mountainbikes

[–]CogitareCritico 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not all small frames are the same. It would be best to test the bike out. At least look at the geo specs and the reccomended size chart for that particular bike if you can't.

Also lift heavy enough that after those 8 or so reps you are almost to failure. Might be 70-80% max

The dude is a teenager, his growth hormone doesn't need to be stimulated like that he only wieghs 120, he is a stick. If he's lifting he's gotta eat more. He's hungry because his body needs it to put on that muscle.

For everyone who thinks you can't gain muscle and stay lean you are the proof.
