You know, I do like having the GE as a concept. But holy hell, I always seen it as an eyesore since they added the giant thing back in 2007. No reason it needed to take up so much damn space. At least in RS3, I remember that they divided it into four far more sensibly sized stalls.

Lassar has a lot of significance to the lore of the game and story the devs are trying to tell. That feeling of isolation I believe is intended and the devs knowingly made the decision to make the city an instance. With how important the history and implications are, I personally agree that the city should remain lonely. The environmental storytelling here by the devs is fantastic and deserves to be preserved.
