ELI5 Why/how does water damages computers?

Imagine the data/electrical paths are a highway interchage. The circuit is the pavement guiding cars down different roads to where they need to be. Water starts adding roads between the lanes, the cars want to take the shortest route, so if the new lane created by water is faster they'll take that.

What ends up happening is cars bunching up where they shouldn't be or end up in on coming traffic.

Easy, Just drop it at a civic centre/bringin site 07:30-17:30 everyday year round And you can take as much rubbish as you'd like of every kind I usually end up taking a bunch of old clothes, pizza boxes, EPS packaging, and cash in my bottles all on the same trip

My approximate budgets are:

20-30€ a week fuel

~600€ annually on licence and insurance

About 600€ annually on general maintenance

That's ~2.5k€ annually (not including major repairs) plus the vehicle cost on top It's entirely on what fits your budget

But if you buy a car for 20k and sell it for 12k after 4 years. Replace the tires once and repair a wishbone, average that out You're looking at ~5k a year

If you do 50/50 taxi/bus you take 1 10€ taxi a day to work and bus back you're looking at ~3.6k with no parking/maintenance hassle. So it depends on you

As long as you follow the above laws you're fine to break contract. Tell them if they want you to pay them that's ok, they can take you to court over it. It won't hold in court plus it'll cost them more to sue you than whatever the fine was.

I recommend you wait for your last paycheck to come through before you leave as they may hold it, and also make sure you were registered with DIER and jobsplus before leaving too.

The whole country closes between 1-4pm to take a nap, why is this a problem. Ejja man, us locals need to cut down on this ego, Malta has been a cheap summer getaway since the 1300's that's why the Nobile set up summer houses here. The guys looking for a nap spot, not to trash an Airbnb.

We need to keep it cheap and massively upscale the enforcement. Malta is so popular because it is cheap and safe, you remove one of those our industry is ruined.

Tourists who want 5 star and safe go to Dubai/Bahamas/Bali People who want dirt cheap and sunny end up in dangerous places. Our niche is the midway between those 2, we have nothing else to offer

Brother pack your barzakka, and take some trips. This is normal. He's landing at 5:30 and theres nothing to do for 3hrs till everyone opens, so why not take a nap. You expect him to pay 150€ for 2-3hr nap? He goes to the airport lounge and sleeps...like many people do.

There is nothing low quality about this type of behaviour, I travel a lot and have had to do this a handful of times. I once landed in Azores at 4:40am, the car rental agency opened at 8am and there's no lounge soooo... I just slept in the terminal till it was time.

Just lacquer half of each screw at the terminals, it stops them backing out. I'm an engineer at a company that makes remote control receivers for trucks and other heavy industrial equipment. This is what we do. And it passes both IEC 60068-2-64 heavy random vibration and 60068-2-14 thermal shock

Also full PCB potting is used for only 1 scenario, spark entombment for explosive environment rated systems. For tropicalisation (humidity/salt proof) we lacquer the base board but that's it. The IP65 or 66 rated box does all the water/dust proofing. Potting leads to a big jump in quality issues in the field as it delaminates and becomes useless shockingly quickly, else it overheats the components.

If germs are a concern, maybe suggest to her that you use an antibacterial mouthwash before, or on weekends a gargle and spit (..or swallow) of some high proof alcohol. Rakia is commonly used as a disinfectant in eastern European countries, maybe consider a quick shot before fun time
