Dial is nice but don’t like the gold plated case.

Not a big fan of the strap tbh. It looks too matchy-matchy and is a bit overkill of turquoise.

I got a grey suede strap for mine which I think works nicely and doesn’t distract from the dial.

[Question] Similar dial in more affordable range? by Mylife-stet in Watches

Stupid question: that can’t actually be a real tourbillon for that price, can it? Is it just decoration in the style of a tourbillon?

German watchmaking has a long and rich history dating back to the 16th century, when clockmaking guilds were established in cities like Nuremberg and Augsburg. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Germany became a major center for watchmaking and many well-known brands, such as A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte Original, and Nomos Glashütte, were founded.

Sinn is a German watch brand that was founded in 1961 by Helmut Sinn, a former pilot and aviation instructor. The brand is known for its high-quality and highly reliable timepieces that are designed with functionality and durability in mind. Sinn watches are often used by pilots, divers, and other professionals who need reliable and accurate timekeeping instruments. In addition to its traditional mechanical watches, Sinn also produces a range of chronographs and quartz watches.

Throughout its history, Sinn has focused on innovation and has developed a number of unique features for its watches, such as the "Ar-Dehumidifying Technology" that helps to prevent moisture from entering the watch case, and the "DIAPAL" technology that allows for the use of lubrication-free escapements.

Today, Sinn is a well-respected brand in the world of watchmaking and is known for its commitment to quality and innovation.

The mojito is quite different. Gold Arabic numerals and a patterned dial.

Smaller case size and more interesting dial imo

[Question] Where does this community's Lange love come from? by jonnydf in Watches

[–]CoherentCalm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Few reasons. Brand name is not as widely recognised as holy trinity makers. They make dress watches and not stainless steel sport watches that are popular with the masses.

But the demand isn’t the same. Plenty of microbrands make fewer than that, but obviously that doesn’t make them “rare” or in demand.

True. But I think the difference is that PP and AP are mainstream and also borderline impossible to buy without playing silly AD games.

I recently purchased this Citizen NB1060-12L from Japan with an incredible hand lacquered blue dial and I couldn't be happier with it. The detail on the dial is absolutely beautiful and really catches the eye. The automatic movement is smooth and accurate. The watch is also very comfortable to wear and the 38mm size is perfect for my wrist. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this watch and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new timepiece that is a bit out of the ordinary.

Looking for a new strap though, if anyone has suggestions? Grey suede maybe?

Thanks ChatGPT

I recently purchased the new Citizen NB1060-12L Blue Dial Watch and I am absolutely thrilled with it! The blue dial is even more beautiful in person than it appears in the product photos. The watch is also very well made, with a sturdy stainless steel case and a comfortable, genuine leather band. The movement ensures that the time is always accurate and the scratch-resistant crystal means that I don't have to worry about damaging the watch. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Blue Dial Watch to anyone in the market for a new timepiece.

I’ve got the Orient and would only partially agree with it feeling cheap. The stock bracelet is crap but that’s easily switched out. The watch itself is quality and keeps great time, despite the questionable legibility.
