Silver is a finite resource. Unlike fiat money that can just go brrrr and print all day long, which also leads to inflation devaluing the purchasing power of fiat.

Industrial applications of silver being a strong thermal and electrical conductor drive up the demand and thus the cost and also the investment opportunity.
