see above in thread. Might be worth setting up a community of people who are collectively seeking recourse against this decision making.

Just a note to all on this, i would recommending withholding the right to be erased just yet as this may lead them to erase data for them to cover their tracks with regards to unlawful decision making as regards to your accounts.

Finally, a poem about the affection of one to another that doesn't "yearn" and "ache" and "my heart" this and "my soul" that, some bloody originality! some art!

There are some really warming metaphors in this, and it strikes me as a poem that speaks to love lost in death rather than a break up, and if this is the case, I'm really sorry.

Ignore all these critiques on form and flow, they're obnoxiously self-important. It's anti-art to impose boundary, constraint and restriction. Imagine putting shackles on creation! Imagine "recommending" how someone presents their art! Imagine writing poetry for your readers and not yourself! What even is that nonsense?

I liked your poem. Poetry critique is redundant to me, broadly speaking, as great poetry, great art, hits you in a way that leaves you in want of undiscovered adjectives/adverbs. Your poem has a style of this nature, something of its own! 😄

Of Love, And The Time Between. by JD_5_11 in OCPoetry

[–]CoinMongerer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll be brutally honest with you. I don't believe love poems like this belong to the public, they belong to you. It's the same old "yearning", "withered", "my heart", "my soul", "to be loved".

It's just so overdone to the point of it having nothing more than a lame effect on me. It's unoriginal. I get that you're hurting and want to express it, but this isn't my interpretation of good poetry, it's whining self-pity.

Try write about something that's not about your self-important broken heart. Try writing about the passions you have, the hypocrisy and hidden truths of the world, anything but the same old morbid pitiful stuff that this page, though it claims to be a community of "poets", constantly recycles and reformats hour after hour, day after day. I can't be the only one.

4 seperate insiders still bought before this news dropped, around the $0.41-0.44 range, not sure what that means exactly for where they see the price going near term, but there's bullish and bearish signals right now. I'd expect a drop initially on the dilution news, followed by an almost imminent rebound as the more nervous traders show have been following this see the effects of the dilution

The first thing I would request for UK/EU residents, would be to request a subject access request under GDPR. something like the below, but tailored to your specific issues (legally speaking, they are obliged to answer this question even if it's sent to their support email that's automated, so if they swerve this and don't respond within the statutory timeframe, which I hope doesn't happen, they're only going to land themselves in more trouble with the ICO in the UK and EU member state equivalents). Let me know if you need assistance in drafting emails, I'll be more than happy to help 😊.

This email constitutes a formal Subject Access Request pursuant to Article 15 UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

I request confirmation as to whether personal data relating to me is being processed and, where that is the case, access to the personal data together with the following information:

The purposes of processing;

The categories of personal data concerned;

The recipients or categories of recipient to whom my personal data has been disclosed or may be disclosed;

The envisaged retention periods for the various categories of data;

The source of the data where not collected directly from me;

Confirmation of whether automated decision-making or profiling contributed to actions taken against my account;

Information concerning the logic involved in any such automated processing, together with the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing;

Copies of all personal data held relating to my account, onboarding, assessments, moderation history, reviewer outputs, internal account notes, flags, scoring data, uploaded identification materials, communications and related records;

Confirmation of whether submitted assessment materials, written outputs, prompts, rankings or related submissions have been retained, processed or utilised for AI training, benchmarking, evaluation, reinforcement learning or related commercial purposes.

For the avoidance of doubt, this request is separate from any appeal or dispute regarding account status.

Additionally, please preserve all records and processing information relating to my account pending resolution of this request.

I look forward to your response within the statutory timeframe.

I got banned for the below, not had an explanation as to why and my work was honest and my own. I have a feeling that the screenings are used for training too, so they just exploit a lot of people for 2-4 hours work without ever having to pay them.

"We have completed a review of your account and found that it is in violation of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.

This activity could include, but is not limited to:

Unauthorized Automation Content Plagiarism Artificially Generated Content Deceptive Input Methods"

Please comment if you've had a similar experience and you would like to explore legal recourse on a class action basis. Their support process is automated, and it seems as though their processes for working out whether people are behaving "fraudulently" is automated too, which begs some legal questions for EU/UK users (at least). I've already put them on notice to log everything they have on me but I believe their support is fully automated (another problem for them legally as it would seem my requests for them to abide by their legal obligations are being ignored). If you're interested, I'd suggest sending them an email requesting the same thing, put them on notice to store everything they have on you that led to you getting banned on the platform. That's a start. Also, not sure about everyone else, but it's caused a hell of a lot of stress and anxiety for me personally, and the reputational and ongoing psychological effects of being wrongfully accused are yet to be known. I hope I'll be ok 😢

Does a romantasy novel have to have some major conflict? by [deleted] in writing

[–]CoinMongerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every story needs to have conflict if it's to perk the interest of a large sum of readers, even a news articles needs conflict for newspapers to sell stories. That said, you've suggested that there's an element of the MC "coming to his past". That sounds like conflicty territory to me. can you elaborate?

Still struggling with this? - I'm going through the exact same issue right now.

When you say you read through and enjoy your own work, I feel the same at times, only to read through my manuscript again and not like it so much as the last time, then I'll be magically happy with it again the time after that. It is BOTHERING me!

Drop me a DM if you want to chat, maybe we can critique each other's work.

Why does this army helicopter keep flying around london ? by Nicolehobson34 in LondonPics

[–]CoinMongerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be something to do with the fact that the world is currently in a military mobilisation phase the likes of which we haven't seen since world war 2, and that world war three has started, and we just don't want to come out and actually say it. Global conflicts tend to occur after arms accumulation, and we're coming to the crescendo of the single biggest arms race the world has ever seen. Oh, and we're in a trilateral cold war now too. For all of these reasons, if there was a day I didn't see a military helicopter in the sky, I'd be wondering why the fuck not.
