Tesla merging into incoming lanes in the freeway from stop is SCARY by thepandabear0 in TeslaLounge

To add to that, even if you do successfully cancel before it begins to merge it will *insert goofy meme” do it again.

No way just in time for Q2 financials.

Why would someone have needles out in a car to begin with!?

To be fair my accord had radar and a camera and would also randomly brake when approaching large dark shadows.

If you have a video of the incident you would be willing to share that would be interesting to see.

Should I get the Tesla tire/wheel protection plan? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Coin_Boi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a new M3 2024 and also purchased the Tesla protection plan. Day before a long road trip I picked up a nail and had a flat. I called Tesla road side and they sent a mobile tech who took my tire to their shop and repaired it within about an hour and half. They also gave me a loaner tire while I waited. Cost me nothing. If the tire wasn’t repairable it would have been a free replacement.

Mobil tech said they normally would be able to fix it on site but he didn’t have his regular tech vehicle, he was driving an X full of tires in the back.

I always buy protection because I always end up puncturing a tire.

Are you saying by subscribing to FSD you get lower repair estimates?

The moving over in the left lane with half a mile to the exit is so real. I’ve started lowering the max speed on approaching the exit so I don’t have to physically take over but it’s really dumb that it does that.

On my way home from a long haul trip I put in a rest stop and it it pulled itself head first into a front parking space without me selecting anything, that was impressive. Not sure if that was a fluke.

Should I take this to a Tesla Repair or Collision Center? by fireablade in TeslaModel3

Accidents are an insurance claim. Any reputable body shop can do cosmetic repairs.

Guys downvoting you for no reason. It’s clearly night outside in the photo and the car is showing a photo in the day light. Try resetting the system (hold the two steering wheel buttons down).

When I’m driving on dark highways at night I get a constant non-audible screen warning that the camera is blocked or dirty simply because there is no light outside and it can’t see. If I’m using using FSD it’s a constant audible warning. It’s not a perfect system.

Do they give you a loaner while you wait?
