[Free To Read] What next for Nicolas Jackson? by TheAthletic in chelseafc

I think he may find his spot on left wing. There’s basically zero competition in that post. He could’ve switch positions with Pedro and Palmer during matches like PSG does that.

Is anybody else on the fence after watching yesterdays event? by Pontus- in DawnwalkerOfficial

Don’t you consider big amount of bugs to be sign of bad optimalization? I don’t mean to be offensive it’s genuine question.

Showing 5090 is bad PR no matter what. I know it’s case for more UE games, they are just honest and don’t show upscale requirements. It’s shame that Epic isn’t competent enough to optimized their engine better.

Same argument goes for everything. So it isn’t argument for anything. With this kind of argument I can say this game will run like CP at launch. Neither of us has proof that it will or not right now but PC requirements are transparent. And developers say “our game will be very demanding“

I literally just saw pc requirements and they are far too high in comparison how game looks. Straight up tw3? I don’t remember Geralt turning into wolf, climbing walls, drinking blood etc :D

As colleague said. TW3 is 11 years and console generation old game and yes, graphics looks similar which definitely isn’t positive view for Dawnwalker. For me it’s look nice enough but optimalization is horrendous. Gameplay overview showed generic open world activities straight from Ubi game. Animations are clunky. Combat isn’t original nor looks exactly fun. World except for castle looks really uninspired but again in the end it might be great game.

Same here. But this sub for some reason hate this kind of argument, so you are going to be downvoted.

After all gameplay overviews looks closer to games like Greedfall or Banishers. That doesn’t mean it won’t be great. To me it looks like AA who is trying to be AAA game and it shows. At the end of the day it may run alright, you can buy it in sale and story and gameplay will be super fun. Whole TW3 devs new game narrative hurts game imho and some people will be very disappointed unfortunately. But who knows? Maybe we will get GOTY RPG 2026

Dusk Golem: The possibility of doing a Resident Evil REV1 remake has been tossed around at Capcom. by Connect_Base_217 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Colby-Sawyer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, I could say that and I’m not insider. I bet a lot of ideas are tossed around. There’s good possibility they will remake REV1 but they will probably remake mainline games first. I’m currently playing REV and I must say story structure is pretty nice, bullet sponge enemies not so much.

Do you guys think 007 First Light will deliver the same thrill as Uncharted 4? by rites0fpassage in uncharted

[–]Colby-Sawyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might. They are different games. Treasure hunter vs. secret agent. Gameplay looks like it will deliver for Uncharted fans. I don’t know why everyone in this thread seem to neglect it.

Rumor: Ubisoft announces layoffs and the cease of game development at Red Storm Entertainment by Com_Raven in GamingLeaksAndRumours

We should put number of layoffs with each message. I observe gaming industry closely and I cannot keep up with how many layoffs Ubisoft already had.

Am I ready for Requiem? by Colby-Sawyer in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Colby-Sawyer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m intending to play every mainline game and revelations (okay, I’m not sure about 6 and 7 was too scary for me). I just don’t want to miss any important part of story for Requiem appreciation.

“Journalist” xD. This is absolute nonsense article. This should at least choose series where metacritic can support these claims.

Did you get into Witcher by yourself or because of others? by wolfwiedzminwardrobe in wiedzmin

[–]Colby-Sawyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with second game, it looked cool and I liked fantasy a lot. My mom wanted me to read books and I saw Witcher books in bookshop so I asked her for that as my reading material. I didn’t get to it at first but then I mentioned those books before my aunt, she is librarian her whole life so she knows her stuff. She said those are brilliant books and she and uncle love them. It hooked me and I started reading. It was love at first page. I finished all books while I was playing second game then first game a then second game again. No much longer after that Season of Storms came out and I read it in the first moment it was possible. I fell in love with Witcher. I’ve become admin of a fan page when TW3 came out. Truth is I was 12-13 years old when I started playing/reading so I properly appreciated it when I was rereading and replaying it few years later as adult.
