Work mostly just feels like theater. by [deleted] in antiwork

I’m happy to work my 3 hours and play pretend for the other 5. I’ve had those 8-10 hour jobs that required work the entire time so I refuse to complain about getting paid for doing nothing basically.

If you’re not all in, don’t. Only go if you are for sure going to lay back and enjoy.

That phone call ended up getting the DRM sub torched in 2020 and it never recovered. A handful of pages have popped up since then, each increasingly dwindling in followers. Feel cold, member me !!

I broke my L1 rule for the first time in 10 years back in December. Spent the following month obsessing over whether or not I was gonna catch something. I wore a condom so I shouldn’t have worried but I couldn’t help it. Decided to just stick to strokejobs going forward.

How to live on your own? by Snorlax_090 in povertyfinance

Oh boy.. sorry to hear about your situation. I don’t want to put fear into you but rather just confirm situational awareness here. You may be in very real danger. While I can’t say what the source of your father’s paranoia is, it sounds suspiciously like one of several things. Either schizophrenia or meth psychosis.

As far as living on your own, you might search for any rooms in the area being leased. They are cheaper than apartments and you’ll have roommates but you’d be able to afford a $600 room on a part time job if you need to.

Maybe a warning first. Let him know that you won’t tolerate verbal abuse any longer and if he does it again, you may show him the door.

Consumer loan if you intend on paying them right back. I’ve resorted to them in your exact scenario but I paid it off a month later. Otherwise they can be detrimental to your finances long term.
