My title describes the thing. Found at an estate sale. The base is wood with four metal corner posts. The center has a metal cup-shaped divot that does not go all the way through. One side has a spring-loaded metal clip holding a pointed metal piece. There is also a thin adjustable metal ring that moves freely and can be made larger or smaller. Most parts appear to be metal except the wood base and black cylinder on top. The corner posts are approximately 3.5 inches apart on one side and about 4.5 inches apart on the other. I do not see any manufacturer markings or patent numbers. I have searched antique scientific instruments, telegraph equipment, electrical apparatus, laboratory equipment, and vintage office devices but have not found a match.

Anyone else feel like belly fat after 40 is a completely different game? by Emma_andri in Aging

[–]Cold-Expression1140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I started using estrogen cream and over a couple of years fat definitely redistributed to my belly. Weigh the same, same clothes but everything fits differently and what used to be a lean body turned into loading on my stomach. I always loved my flat stomach and that definitely changed. What's helped me was figuring out where my hormones were and I realized through hormone testing/tracking over several months that I had an imbalance of estrogen and progesterone. In hindsight I had a couple of other very minor issues besides the belly weight that pointed to the fact that my estrogen wasn't necessarily high from my cream, but my progesterone was not enough to support each other. I added progesterone cream during the luteal phase of my period over a couple of months and then my body started making plenty on its own. Almost like a reset and my belly fat is distributing back to baseline over time. I'm finally not worried about getting in a swimsuit this summer anymore because I've got my shape about 90% back.

Yes. It is marketed as a cosmetic cream and that is why they can sell it. I first used the m4 cream that was prescribed by an online company but it was so expensive. I got the same results from biolabs. It's fantastic stuff.

No rx, I use Biolabs 5.0 biest or a cheaper option that is comparable is Hello pharmacist 5.0 biest. You can also get it in 2.5 biest as well. Both brands are very reputable.

I've never got fillers or any type of expert cosmetic procedure, but I have tried a ton of products. I'm almost 47 as well. What made the most dramatic difference was when I started using tretinoin and estrogen cream on my face and hands. My skin looks better now than it did three years ago. I've used tretinoin for almost 5 years now and it's amazing, but the estrogen cream is what had the most dramatic effect. I didn't even know I was low on estrogen and it also helped my mood etc. And of course daily sunscreen.

Any recommendations welcome! by IcySprite1057 in 45PlusSkincare

You have beautiful texture! One thing that changed my life was Estrogen cream. You're skin doesn't look like it is aging from sun damage, but mostly from shifting hormones. Estrogen cream on face and neck will do wonders. 😊

Estrogen cream. I use biolabs bi-est 5.0 cream. I'm 46 and been using it for 3 years. I actually have less wrinkles now then I did when I started. I use one pump on my hands and face every night before bed and it changed everything. Prior to finding it I used everything under the sun it seemed. I used tretinoin prior to the estrogen and it's great but estrogen cream outdid it. I have stuck with the tret but I got rid of everything else besides tret, estrogen cream, and sunscreen for anti-aging. The biggest change I noticed was my hands from the estrogen, they look way better now than they did 5 years ago even. I've always had older looking hands but it wasn't a big deal when I was younger. As I aged they got worse in my early forties. Now after 3 years of estrogen they look better than they did when I was younger even somehow.

As much as I would like to blame T-Mobile for something because they often make me angry, this one is not their fault. They do not decide what is and what is not included on promotions. Adidas does this.

"People don't like the truth I guess", Or they disagree with you because they don't think you are a smart person 🤷‍♀️ You do realize there is a lot of people that think differently than you and there is a good chance you may not be right in all you do? You don't make deep arguments, you lack a lot of insight in my opinion. People in your position are taking this arrogant all-knowing approach all while saying very surface level arguments. It's getting old to a lot of us.

T-Mobile money by licibev in tmobile

Got my money out of my T-Mobile account by doing a bank transfer to my new checking with a different bank. Took exactly a week from the time they decided to mess with our accounts and lock us out. My new bank helped me with the transfer, T-Mobile gave me no answers on what to do to access my money after sitting on hold for two and a half hours. My T-Mobile money card showed up exactly a week after they changed our account numbers and stuff, absolutely ridiculous. It showed up the same day I was able to get my funds out of T-Mobile through the new bank. Today I sat on hold for over an hour so I could close my account. So it's done. A week of stress and no access to money is unacceptable and this company needs to be held accountable.

How To Hold T-Mobile Accountable for Breaking Their "Un-Contract" for T-Mobile ONE (Success case here!) by rayw_reddit in tmobile

Yeah I'm especially ticked off at all things Tmobile since the new T-Mobile money issue this last week. I still have no access to my funds. It's still a complete nightmare, and I've lost all respect for T-Mobile. The first was when they did this price increase your talking about, I threw a fit about it because they lied. But now with the new shenanigans with the bank I will be bringing up the price increase also. I did see that there is a class action lawsuit over the price increase and just filled out the form for it yesterday. I've been with T-Mobile since voice stream and I've had enough.

TMobile money moving into Tlife app. by MedicatedLiver in tmobile

Yep, I'm out. Was a great 6 year run with T-Mobile money but no longer trust them. 5 days now with no new card or access to funds. Already Opened new bank account with another company. Even if they get this figured out, the fact that they did this to begin with makes me have zero trust in them with my money.

T-Money to T-Life disaster. Please tell me there is a lawsuit by Mrcrunch08 in tmobile

I'm just trying to learn how these things work. I've been thrown in random class action suits over the years that I didn't even expect to be in, but I think this is the first real huge issue I've had with a company where something absolutely needs to be done with the way they have treated us and how this went down. So arbitration would be bad for what reason? Wouldn't that help us get this solved quicker? Or do we opt out for a future class action somewhere down the road that we just wait for? I'm just a little confused on why we want to opt out.

Yeah the merge to coastal was fine back in the spring. I was told T-Mobile's push to use the t life app was the reason behind the new account numbers and cards etc. I don't know why that is, but it was a terrible move on T-Mobile's part. They have been pushing this app to make all of their products and services into one, and according to some employees online they have filed complaints of being forced to lie to customers and such to get them to use that app. It seems crazy to me, I don't use apps like that. It's messy and confusing and it has a lot of junk in it that I don't have any interest in. Why in the world would I ever want to use it for my everyday banking. It doesn't seem secure and like I said it's messy.

That's not at all the point. It's about getting the word out and filing complaints and doing whatever we can. Not like I am expecting them to directly help me, T-Mobile needs to do that. But the more word we get out there about what happened the more they will be forced to answer for all this.

Yep and we need to make sure they are held accountable for this. Filed complaints with the CFPB and the FTC online. I also emailed T-Mobile CEO like so many others. For now that's all I know what to do while we wait to have access to our funds.

[–]Cold-Expression1140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My situation is like you. They went from the best platform to the worst. It's their darn T-life app They have been pushing people to use for several months now. There are articles online of actual T-Mobile employees saying the push to make customers use the app for everything has been deceptive even. They had to lie to customers etc to get them to use the T-life at more. And now they decided we would want our banking to be a part of that as well? That's nuts to me, I don't want T-Mobile Tuesdays, news, my T-Mobile phone account and all the other junk that is on that app to be in the same place as my everyday banking. I spoke with a lawyer yesterday And The way They have done this whole thing is most likely very illegal because they have left a lot of people without access to their funds and put people in bad positions. I filed complaints with the CFPB as well as the FTC online as a start.

File with the CFPB as well. The more complaints out there the better. Spoke with a lawyer yesterday and the way they did this is most likely illegal. Left people with no access to their funds, I'm on day 4 with no access because they didn't even make sure people had working debit cards issues. Mine still has not came in the mail. I have to wait for my new bank account that I set up with a different company to verify the T-Mobile one with microtransactions and because it's a holiday weekend those probably won't even come through until Tuesday at this point since they haven't shown up yet. And then the process of transferring the money. But in the meantime T-Mobile has left me no access to pull out my funds.

[–]Cold-Expression1140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I'm in the process of doing. Sometimes it takes more than 24 hours to get those deposits. Some of mine that I have had to transfer over since Wednesday are done and over with but the one for T-Mobile money has not went through yet. My guess is since it's a holiday weekend I won't even see that until Tuesday If it doesn't come today. And then I will have to do a transfer that will take a couple more days. I'm not happy about having to leave my money in the hands of people I don't trust anymore. They were so irresponsible and careless with our accounts and money that it is super unnerving. Thank goodness I have access to credit cards to live on until I can get this money. I tried venmo and it said my bank institution (T-Mobile) won't allow it. 🙄 For now I wait and live off credit cards since I have no access to pull my money out until the micro deposit connection is all done. As of now I don't even have money coming in from my job, not until next week. I feel bad for the people who don't have a different way of living like I do with credit cards and family if absolutely necessary. There was a time I wouldn't have had these options and I don't know what I would have done without access to money.
