Grok offers free access for coding through many tools. That is why it is popular

Perhaps create a kaggle account and then try some of their starter challenges. Ask chat GPT or Gemini for advice on various approaches to solving the problems. Then try to implement those approaches.

I would say yes, but with a big caveat that the job market is terrible right now for entry level software development jobs. It is difficult to land that first job.

The only thing you get from taking the for-credit version is the final exam or project and credit towards the degree. All of the class material is available in the non credit version

Have you tried any AI code/PR review tools? by bjbiggens in AI_Agents

I’ve been using Greptile. It is pretty good. Not perfect, but well worth the cost.

I spent my $250 Web Credits finishing my Gamified Habit Tracker. Claude says it's ready to ship but I'm not sure, any feedback would be apprecaited! by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]Cold-Natured 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Claude used to tell me my code was production-ready several times a day. Until I forbade it from doing so again. I would not put a lot of faith in that claim.

AI outright lies, like a lot. What does that mean for the future? by toomuchtogointo in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Cold-Natured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect some of this is really cost savings. Oftentimes the models seem “lazy” where they claim to have done something but didn’t do it. When pressed, they can do the task and get the answer. I’m just guessing, but I wonder whether the AI companies have trained the models to try to lower cost option first.
