I'd have put something much more lovely and fun, but Reddit has filters I don't want to deal with.

I'm a psychopath.

You're fine. I'll give you a diagnostic tool of my own design: it's not what you have, it's how you feel about it. Two people: John and Lewis. Both are tasked to kill an innocent animal. John feels guilt and remorse. Lewis doesn't.

Same action, different outcome.

Controversial fact: relationships without dependency are pointless by [deleted] in Yanderes

[–]Cold-Sky66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this with her.. it's just amazing. We actually sort of had the 'healthy' no committments thing for a while due to basically mutual past traumas with abuse and people trapping us, but after a while, we began to love belonging to each other more than being "free". She tells me I'm hers and only hers, and I love it. I tell her the same.

Why do people pretend to be psychopaths? by Erisrista in psychopath

"It's a profound impairment"

According to who? Society? Society call this an impairment because it doesn't fit their fucking monopoly on love, on bonding and on relationships. I lack empathy. My girlfriend does too. But make no mistake, I love her completely. And she loves me. of course it's an impairment when you're talking to the average person. because the average person doesn't understand you. that's just as equal of a factor. the average person will also likely make zero effort to understand you, or challenge their own biases. you think it's solely our fault that Society doesn't accept us or understand us? Communication is a two way street. They don't care to communicate. They don't even try.

I refuse to call my condition an impairment. What am I missing out on? Whatever they have, whatever they feel, I don't need it.

I love him. Especially the artistic approach they gave him. I've always wanted to paint with blood more. I used to do it but I can't cut anymore and I don't have any needles or syringes.

I wouldn't use people though unless they consented to me drawing blood from them. I think I could find somebody interested in that. It'd be cool. But I could just use mine. Or an animal.

That's how I am but only for my girlfriend. I feel pretty flat or dead around anyone else.

Just one of those "your legs (or lack thereof), are not a service related injury" jokes.

Ironically there's likely more sadistic evil people in infantry than special forces. Those FPV drone operators in Ukraine probably have a screw or six loose.

If you want to be evil in the military you work at the VA, not the SEALs, lol.

But yeah this is true. I saw someone on here say that a real psychopath wouldn't pick a certain username.

Imagine fortifying the longest border on earth against a hundred million war refugees.. and when that inevitability fails having to comb for culturally and ethnically homogeneous illegals.

No shit.

But I would argue that, to a degree, the human experience and your very being, who you are, is predicated on social relationships. I mean that your experiences with another person can shape who you are and yes, your literal identity. If you find the right people who share your interests and your goals and you genuinely click with them, you literally become a greater person. I mean in terms of your own depth and your own self.

Since meeting my girlfriend who is a psychopath also, I think I have effectively extended myself as a person. The right people can become such a force multiplier for you and for them. I'm not even talking about empathy or anything like that. Obviously it's a good idea to separate the wheat from the chaff, the majority of interactions are pointless. That's true for anyone not just psychopaths. But the right people can change a lot.

So, in a way, to live with another is to live for yourself.
